Any ideas how to remove the antenna base for striping the roof?

No problems so far (5 days). The ring around the radio is a very smooth surface.

One pic at the dealership and a few showing a wet and somewhat dirty car after its first road trip....

Nice! How do you like those JCW cloth seats on a road trip? They don't have the lumbar adjustment, but I haven't had lumbar on a car since 1990 so I likely wouldn't need or miss it if the seats are well constructed.

Cloth seats are fantastic! I received lots of compliments on the look, the texture, just the overall quality... these ain't your grand-daddy's cloth seats. And I assume like all the other sports seats, they really "clamp you in"... very supportive and comfortable. However, they will be a lint magnet, so I will probably keep a lint brush in the car to get rid of the cat hair, etc.

Sounds great! I'll need to buy some stock in lint brushes, but you convinced me. I did love the texture too. Ok, I touched - but only a little. Can you blame me? For the record, there was a piece of lint on the driver's back underneath the plastic that I pulled off for ya!

Of course when you've got lint UNDER the shipping plastic, I'm gonna need to fill the car with lint rollers. I do like those seats though.

personally i'd stripe over the roof & remove them from the front lower bumper to match the fact that they don't extend over the rear bumper

Here's mine with the new 18" MINI 506 oem wheels put on last Thursday. I am keeping the 17" Tentacles for winter tires.

This past Friday I picked up my new F56 S. I'll post pictures soon, but this is from my dealer's twitter feed. I'm embarrassed to say why I got the tickets :D

Love those wheels! Saw a car at the dealership with them when I went for a test drive. I almost added them to my order, but decided to spend the money elsewhere. Maybe something to add later...

Well..... So I go to pick up my car on Friday and my MA said that they had received a phone call from MINI USA wanting to know more about the very enthusiastic customer they had.... who broke the record for number of times calling the MINI hotline number to get an order status They gave me the tickets as a way of saying thanks. I was embarrassed :D By the way, the tickets are to see the Orioles play the MINIsota Twins.

Hahaha, what was your total call number? I just scrolled through my phone and counted 24 unique calls to the the hotline.

I was afraid to ask. Thinking that my car was ordered on 4/2 and I took delivery on 6/13, I'm sure it was up there. If they would have just attached a wifi-enabled go pro camera to my car and made it viewable from a web page I wouldn't have had to call the number so much! Right?!

I am now up to 3 times a day to determine if the timeline is updating. I am at week 10 with a estimated delivery of yesterday...... I just looked at my phone bill and counted well over 50 :(

That is a great story!

I wouldn't be embarrassed, I'd be proud to hold the record
