Has anyone lifted there F60
Starting to research this and seems M7tuning makes a 2.5 lift kit and it looks awesome. If anyone has done this or thinking let’s look at some pros and cons . Handling, Awd axle vibrations ?? , etc etc . Tire and wheel sizes etc .

I’m not so sure that any Mini speedo is ever correct. 🤣. We own 3, all with factory size wheels and tires, and they are all off my 2 to 4 mph, including my 2019 with only 300 miles.

BDI,
What wheels and offset did you use?
I'm going to put these same wheels but was waiting until I could purchase the M7 Speed Gen3 2.5" lift. However, now that I've seen yours I think I can do the tires/wheels now and lift later. I was hoping to use a 17x8 5x112 with a +32 or +35 offset. I will mostly likely use spacers instead of fender or wheel well mods.

I installed Journey's Offroad 2" lift kit. It is half the price of M7 kit at $550.
https://www.journeysoffroad.com/mini...-lift-kit.html
The 2" kit did not require removing the half shafts, but needed a big bar and a lift to install. Another half inch would have required taking everything apart as you'll see in the M7 installation instructions.
Also, I installed Blizzaks for winter using the stock rims (Size is 225/60/18). They are 28.6" tall, nearly 2" taller than stock. No rub, but very tight. This is my new winter set-up.
I will add new All Terrain tires with new 17" wheels in spring.

My buddy has a wheel shop and did the install with my help (ha). Its not for the wannabe mechanic. We confirmed what we were doing against the instructions on M7's site. Same everything except was able to leave half shafts in.

Clutch or actual internal issues? If its the clutch that can be from the way you drive, drive more aggressive and the clutch on these cars can burn up faster, that why if you mod we recommend a performance clutch to hold the power. Lifting the MINI adds a little weight, most weight added to the drivetrain comes from heavy nubby tires and heavy wheels.

Yep, have not heard anything like that on the new F60, throw out bearing wear is usually way down the road ( usually 100k), I have seen it many times on the older Gen 1 cars. Have not heard about the syncro. Those gen 3 transmissions should not have that many problems. I have autocross my older MINIs and they have a less refined getrag (earlier version) manual transmission
Thanks for the info.
