Hello. This is a probably a newbie question, but here it goes. I have a 2018 Countryman S ALL4 in white (black roof, black stripes). I'm considering having the car repainted to something similar to the JCW Rebel Green or maybe the Enigmatic Black Metallic. (Not necessarily an exact Mini color though) Does repainting a car bring down its resale value dramatically? And any suggestions on how to find a reliable service to do the paint job? I called my dealer and ask what body shop they use, but I'm curious if there are other reliable options to explore. (I'm in the Philadelphia PA area.) Many thanks for any guidance on how to go about repainting and/or whether it's a bad idea.

 

Have it wrapped. You can do some really cool stuff and it can always be removed. And probably cheaper than a proper paint job.

 

Thank you. I don't know anything about vinyl wrapping, so I will look into that.

 

I had a similar thought with my Clubman. A quality paint job at a good shop came in just under $10,000. Needless to say, I left it the same color.
