Thanks!

No, it's not the midnight black, it's the "old" astro black.

Nice JCW! But dude why are your exhaust tips sooo short? I thought the tip recall is just for the S, or is it just the picture...

It's just the picture and my inept photography skills.

My (August build) JCW exhaust tips also do not protrude beyond the bodywork (they end flush). The recall doesn't apply to recent builds because the exhaust is already shortened on them.

2009 JCW - Dark Silver

Here's some pictures of my car. If you like it, head on over to the classified section as it's for sale now! The JCW Mini is an amazingly fun car. One heck of a ride. I'm gonna miss it.

Your going to love the CAI....sounds great. I have a buddy who uprgaded his intercooler last year and he said he really saw the improvement on the hotter days. When he had the stock one in he said he noticed a big drop in power on the really hot days. The larger intercooler really helped out in the warmer weather.

Going to install a meth injection kit soon and add a CO2 cooler....dont think I will see big gains but I want to see for myself.

Nice! I must ask, did you paint the lips on the wheel well? I don't like how the flat black plastic is hard to clean and I figured a smooth surface like that would be much easier to clean. Same thing for the headlight bezel rings, tail lights, trim and so on. Thanks!
