New windshield for my JCW.
At 44k miles now.
The question is wether to get an extended warranty or use those 2-3k$ towards the purchase of a new JCW(hatch or coupe).
I took it to a car show last week and got nothing but compliments from a few dozen people. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.
I notice you vinyl'd the headlight rings in body colour. If you stare at the pic long enough, it almost looks like you have big a$$ fenders and no tires. Have any more pics? I don't expect to be in Buffalo until next year at the earliest I think even though it is so close to Toronto.

Tough decision... there will be a brand new JCW hatch at some point right? If I already had a financed/owned R56 JCW, I would wait to see what the new model looks like.
I didn't really take anymore pics since I got the trim painted, maybe I'll try to take some cool ones this weekend.

WOW! that's a great looking car. I love the 2 colors on the 2 (or 3? piece) piece JCW rims. With color match headlights, tail lights, and grille surround that will be a sexy. cooper. Have you thought about painting the xenon shroud to match? Not a joey mod, jus the piece that sits around the projector tip.
Niiiiiiiiiice. Did you need spacers for these to clear the brakes? Are these a true 2/3-piece wheel? That would open up a TON of paint options.
5mm spacers are needed up front to clear the larger brakes, the wheels are 2 piece BBS JCW R109s, just had them split with centres painted, barrels painted and diamond cut by the people who manufacture the wheels for Mclaren, hence I had to have the centres painted Mclaren anthracite with a matte lacquer.

Just sorting the colour coded front rear light rings and surrounds, I hadn't thought of the xenon shroud, but you've planted the seed now!

Cheers for all the compliments guys.
With spacers on the front only do the fronts stick out more than the rears? Would a 10mm fit? I only ask because the OEM spare tire kit needs a 10mm spacer to clear and it would be sweet to kill two birds with one stone.

Thanks for all the info!
I guess technically yes however this is not noticeable at all, 10mm would work and give you a little more space between the Brembo's but would suggest you may wish to fit on the rear too if the front track is 20mm wider.
