[QUOTE=Louie B.;3427649]Guess I'll put mine up here. 2012 White Silver / Red, Pictures just do not do this color combo justice!

With the blue sky, that almost looks like the Silverstone II BMW color. Maybe even Moonstone. Looks great.

Chad Swanson did the graphics for me at MINI of South Atlanta. No package. I just sent him pictures and sent him the design over Forza 4. I tweaked the stripes slightly and guided him through the process. I can give you his contact if you live near Atlanta.

I live in Dallas - would love to put the Challenge stripes on my 2009 Astro Black JCW. I don't need all the extra one's you've got - although it does look great with the Dunlap graphics on the front.

I wasn't sure about the candy red interior when I bought it, but one spin around the block was enough to make me forget about any cosmetic shortcomings. The look has grown on me and I love it anyway now, so all good!

Added some Challege stripes

Just got done adding some Challenge stripes to my 2009 Astro Black JCW. It's like buying a new car.

Looks great. I like the JCW logo on the side skirt.

I have the older challenge stripes which I like a bit better. I do not know why they went to this newer style.

Any significance to the #37? Just the like #37 you see on lots of MINIs?

I get asked this all the time with my car. People assume its an 8 ball on my car which its not. I just like the #8. Its always been my lucky number

Don't know that the two stripe checker is newer than your three stripe checker on the side stripes. If you look at different Challenge races in different countries, the two stripe challenge stripe has been around for a while. The guys with MINI of Charleston that put the side stripe together for me told me that the 2 stripe checker style was the original design from MINI AG in the manual, and that the 3 stripe design came later. I'm just glad that my installer in Dallas (91 Designs) did an amazing job with the install, added the hood and rear stripes, and then did a custom JCW decal for the rocker panels.

I always thought that the three stripes was the original design for the Challenge cars.

I started to notice the 2 stripe version like you have on your car only recently.

I am very enamored with the Challenge car. I watch lots of videos on YouTube and I am always Googling for images of the Challenge car.

That is why I think you have the newer design.

I does not really matter. Your car looks great and like I said I like the JCW logo on the side skirts.

LH0121, can you confirm please: is that Eclipse grey? I assume that it's the same car you posted pics of before, when it had black JCW wheels and spotlights fitted?

I have to admit, the wheels shown above transform it. Has it been lowered aswell?

Thanks.

PS. If you are prepared to help someone else get their wheels done like that, please PM or e-mail me.

From what he said before, the wheel is a real, honest-to-goodness multi-piece wheel. Just remove the bolts, separate the halves, have the centers painted/powdercoated, reassemble and you're good to go.

I'm going to get a set and either do EG, CR or EG with CR highlighting.

Put on my refinished summer wheels on last weekend and lowered the car. Also put my DDM race intake on too. Couple of more things to do before MOTD.

Posted this in 1st Gear area, but maybe it's better directed here:

I wanted to make a new thread about this question but maybe you guys would know. So I went to a Mini dealer today and they said that they don't have a slot for me to order a JCW Hardtop. How does that work? I am willing to give them my business but its almost like they don't want it. So what's this whole "limited order/slot amount" funny business?

EDIT: Found the thread that explained it.

Eclipse Gray Convertible JCW finally arrived

It was almost exactly 8 weeks since the order and I picked it up on Friday. I'm really delighted with both the look and the driving experience. Couldn't be happier.....
