Its a full bloodied JCW the JCW body kit was standard. I held back on options as the base price for the stock JCW convertible is pretty hairy.. ! I added only punch carbon black leather seats, heated seats, HK audio system (which I think is great by the way), union jack scuttles and JCW checkered floor mats (I'll pick those up next week). I'm adding the JCW sports steering wheel myself after the dealer quoted me $2000 installed .
I also added a customized whalen shifter **** and matching ebrake handle.
I'll add more pictures when I stop driving it for a few minutes.
Can't believe how much fun it is to drive. I've been to the supermarket about six times this weekend and have already got about 8h on the openometer. The kids all love it too.
Ohh. Not sure what you mean by "full bodied JCW". What is different in terms of the packages/options between your body kit and the one in the picture below:
Sorry for the confusion when I typed "full bloodied" I meant that it is the JCW Mini not an S with an aero kit and other addons (not that there is anything wrong with that ). So it has the aero kit that comes standard with JCWs this year.
Cheers
Bill
Ohh okay, thanks for clarifying. So if I wanted to place an order on a factory JCW right now without the Aero Kit (the picture I posted), am I out of luck? Maybe I'm crazy but I don't like the rear bumper on the Aero Kit.
Nope, it's standard. The only way to NOT get the Aero kit on a new MINI is to get a Clubman. It's the ONLY MINI that doesn't doesn't get the Aero kit when ordered as a fJCW. It's crap.

LOL ridiculous. I think I'll try making a huge fuss to corporate. Give me a downgrade or else you'll lose my business. HAHA!

I was able to order a 2012 Clubman JCW with the Aero Kit included. The car still in transit, so I have not been able to verify if there are any problems with it arriving as ordered.
Unless you meant someone is able to order the Clubman JCW without the Aero Kit if desired.
Early 2012 JCW Clubman's models do not have the JCW aero kit, I know my 2012 is that way. Three weeks after I got mine, jcw aero became standard. not happy about it, but will add it at a later date. Aero kits standard after March 2012 builds will have jcw aero kits. Not many jcw Clubmans around though.

It's okay, I'll just give you mine free of charge, haha. I don't like it.

Do you prefer the Aero Kit or the original one?
Aero on the front and sides by a wide margin. I'm iffy on the Clubman rear but only because the OEM rear has the mesh that matches the grill but the aero kit doesn't.

Yes, but you had to pay extra for it, correct? ALL other fJCWs get the aero kit standard. No extra money, it's included in the price. Since I got mine through military sales here in Germany I didn't have that option. It'll have to wait until I get to Texas.

What??? They don't show that on the configurator. WTF??? NOW I'm really mad.

Too bad you're not getting a Clubman. I'd make that trade in a heartbeat. I even have family in CA and will only be in TX so it would even be workable.

No, I did not pay extra. They thought I would have to, but there were 2 new JCWs (1 coupe and 1 hardtop) on their lot as of 14 Feb 2012. The JCW Coupe had the Aero kit, but no mention of it anywhere on the Window Sticker. The JCW Hardtop had the Aero Kit and its window sticker had the line item listed as "included" where the price would be. I asked and asked and there was some confusion as to what recent changes may be going on; they made some calls and my paperwork drafted for the order indicates "Aero Kit (INCL)". Also, the MINI site under my build specs indicates it will have "John Cooper Works Aero Kit".
Hopefully, when it arrives at the dealership next week or so, it will all be as expected.

Yeah, I'm serious too. But obviously it would need to match my car's color, which will be EG. And the kit would need to be brand new.
Looks like the AeroKit that now comes standard on the Clubman JCW has the side sections a lot different (does not have the scuttle things - only flared body color). I'll take better pictures after delivery.
