Questions on ordering a 2011 JCW

What is the difference between the Sport Suspension and the JCW suspension?

Is there any redundancy checking off both when ordering a JCW or does the former consist of swaybars, and the latter springs/struts?

I am debating on whether to campaign one nationally in SCCA's CS, DSP, or STX next year. However, with talk of a 2012(?) coming with the JCW Aero Kit standard(as it should!!) and possibly more power, I'm hesitant on pulling the trigger.

Looks like the R56 JCW suspension upgrade kit includes front/rear sway bars (below). IMHO, if you plan on installing a JCW suspension upgrade, then no need to spend for the factory sport suspension, since it will just be removed to install the JCW.

Kit shows 24mm front, 18.5mm rear

Not sure if it has changed or not. But in 2009 the JCW was the complete suspension shipped to the dealer in boxes. So you'd order the base suspension, because like JackMac says they are only going to remove the existing suspension, and replace it with the JCW suspension. I have my stock suspension in boxes down in the basement. If you're going to autocross it in the stock class, the JCW suspension MAY not qualify, unless the SCCA has changed the rules in the last couple of years (Or Mini now installs the JCW suspension at the factory) dealer installed equipment was not considered stock.
