Hey Jerry!

That I am, but I am not loving that fact that my car is at the dealership again.....ugh...

I think the tensioner backed out again, and began leaking oil.

Mine was in last month for the same problem. Tensioner backed out for the second time.

Did you have to swap your intake out when taking it back to the dealer? I'm afraid to get one in case something like this were to happen.

Nope. I have never been given any flack about it. I also know my tech really well, as well as, the service advisers.

Out here in my new home of New Mexico, the dealership has also never given me flack. They were actually super interested in what all I have done to my car. Haha.

I was wondering why the scoop didn't really have an opening. Tempted with the minifini grill.

What is the benefit of opening up the hood scoop? I do not believe this will give you ram air.

Engine bay cooling and ventilation of the turbocharger heat when vehicle isn't in motion.

It's a very nice piece. I had to do some trimming on my carbon fiber scoop to get a perfect fit. But, it came out great. The factory scoop may be a better fit from the start.

Turbo sucks air, so no need for what is known as "Ram Air".

gotta get me one of those!

What do you think of the diverter that is being sold here ,listed in the marketplace, that directs air down to the cat?

It appears to me that the GP2 will have a free flowing mesh design, as well, though this is pre-production:

I pulled it off my 2011, but I hated the cosmoline that I could see seeping around that area.
