MTH Flashing

I read almost all and can i summarise as follows:
1) Do ID check and save the file
2) generate the keycode from cartune by keyin the VIN number correctly.
3) Then key in or paste the generated keycode to the keycode field in the cartune software.
4) resave the file and email to info@mth-powerchip.de
5) the programming can be done once the modified done and returned

But I am not sure whether the car can be driven and the cartune must be remained open while waiting for the new file..

regards

You can use your car while waiting for the file. Sometimes Franz is a bit busy it it can take a day before you get your file back.

We have a MINI breakfast meeting every Saturday and sometimes we send a file to Franz and only the week after install the new one.

We should have 2 file saved 1) original with no key code ie from the first read 2) original with loaded keycode which to be sent back to Franz for tuning and later return for writing into ECU..
Am I right here..
i read somewhere there are file .mim and another one .org...
I am bit confused here???

By the way, Anybody know where I can have MTH cartune forum for BMW cars.. just to get some info on the cartune dyno if possible
