Who's got a pic w/ black wheels? I'm thinking of powdercoating them depending on if I can find a place and the cost.

Thanks. Looks good. Did you get the Aero kit and then paint the wheel arches black?

It came that way with the JCW aero kit, which I had installed at the VDC.

Sparky

Here is Sparky. Picked him up 10/2/08 and motoring with a smile ever since.

Need your opinions... I'm still trying to figure out ideas for new stripes for Daphne. I want something different from black. I think we've settled on shelby stripes with the outside pin stripe being a different color. What would ya'll think of the main stripe being royal grey (an 06 color) and the outer pinstripe black. I saw a royal grey mini the other day and I think it has enough brown in it to complement our quirky sparking silver.

You can put the stripes over the clear bra - a better idea than under since they can then be removed if you don't like them down the road!

I'd have to see it to have an opinion. I know I wouldn't go with the fake wood look. I saw that on an SS at MTTS LA and it didn't look good to me (but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess. And I hope that owner doesn't read this!)

I thought of English oak stripes for about 2 seconds and then thought better of it.

Just trying to think of something you-nique but not too out there. I would really like stars, something like goblintim's stripes in the "Show us your MINI stripes" thread. I don't have the talent to get my ideas on paper though!

I picked up my 09 sparkling silver mini on October 18th, I personally think that sparkling silver is the business suit color of the mini world.

Wow, the car looks great amongst all the autumn leaves. Business suit color? Huh? (Just confused, not unhappy)

I agree about the "business suit" - it is a classy color!
Yours looks very nice, I didn't get the stripes on mine, but I have been kicking
around the idea of these exact stripes...
Enjoy!!

It's Meadow Brook Hall, former home to John Dodge. I go to Oakland University and it's on our campus.
