My car looks like a toy...

Thought I'd share this pic of my Sparkling Silver S in Sequoia National Forest:

Interesting how slow posts have gotten.

I don't have a recent pic, but I can report that SS handles road grime very well. (Mine's a commuter car. )

~6000 miles. I still love this car. But I switched to my big yellow truck for snow/ice.

Cheers!

MCS 2008 bought new 12/2/2008 at mini Peabody from Ma Ed Marsi, stripes modified and expertly applied by Kevin Eaton at Mini Peabody.

"as has been said by many-what a great experience-a very relaxed
no pressure atmosphere. My ma is Ed Marsi.I arrived at 10 am that day-no
prior visit-and drove my new mini, registered, detailed, and stickered home
at 4pm.Ed kept all his promises and even went with me to get my sticker
because I was new to the area.Today I went back to get ordered roof
stripes.Kevin Eaton from mini service modified them to my secifications
and applied them perfectly-spending a long time to make sure they were
perfect-so meticulous!!!When kevin was done he washed and wiped down my
car w/o me even asking.I will be buying my wife a mini inthe spring
needless to say I will be buying it from Ed and be requesting that Kevin
oversee all my service work"

I used to hate this color, but a few days ago the dealer had one in the show room with black bonnets and black top, it looks so slick! It is now in the my top 3 colors for my next mini.

On the configurator, SS is nasty. I went in to order Astro Black, saw it was some nasty dark blue color, and saw the SS sitting there on the dealer lot. I thought about it overnight, then we re-configured with SS and the rest, as they say, is history.

So nice to read about someone who had such a smooth and enjoyable transaction.

The question now: what color will the wife's MINI be?

She likes O2 blue-but it is not available on a sport ,and by the time we add in all her required options it would be foolish not to get a sport. So her second choice is pepper white, body color roof, premiem package, cold weatherpack, and mini hifi, tuscan leather etc.!!

PW is a great color. If I didn't get SS, I think I might've gone with that.

I believe it is/was a package for the convertibles only, but I'm not sure what was included in it. I think wheels were part of it, trimwork too?

Sidewalk package is a combo of the Premium and Sport Package and a few other nice little features. it is listed under the config or the convertible.
