I just got my MINI back from Jeremy over at http://www.getoutoflinedesign.com/
I had him put viper stripes that are metallic charcoal gray w/ black pin stripes.
Unfortunately it was supposed to rain all day, which I feared would ruin my photo opp. So I decided to try and use the weather to my advantage and take the photos at night in the rain.

I really need to put that grill on my car, was it difficult to put on? How hard was it to re-run the driving lamps?
It wasn't hard at all! To take the lamps off all you have to do is unplug the connecters behind the grill on each side. Then unscrew the 2 hex screws under the light on the bracket from there the lamps will hang from the wires so i put my light covers on when i took the grill off just incase of them falling but i was able to remove it one light at a time. Everyone says it takes about 10 min to switch the grill with no lights but taking the lights off and doing it carefully it should only take about 30 min. Good luck i can't wait to see it! ( if you need some pictures when it stops raining here I'll take some )
Well, a few weeks back, when I thought I was a better driver than I apparently am, I took my dirty SS to the car wash. As I was pulling up to the payment thingy, I thought I had more room in front than I did. Turns out it was tighter than I thought, and I heard something hit. I thought it was the wheels, and hoped it was the tire. Turns out it was my bumper, right by the fog light. Scraped my poor baby all up! Long story short (I know, I know, too late, huh?), I had a "repair plan" that turned out horrendously the first time but now looks awesome. The paint actually matches and everything. Now, someone would have to look pretty close to even notice anything was ever wrong (Of course, the lighting was different in pretty much all 3 of these pics, but you can still see how bad it was at first, how bad it was the first time it was "fixed" and how it looks now). I'm satisfied. (LOL. The last pic has a reddish tint to it because I am parked about a half inch away from my Chili Red MINI!!)

Reason: Why does the last pic look reddish?
Welcome to the club! Southern California, huh? What part? Which dealer did you order from?
yeah, orange county and we went to Irvine MINI and I got my MINI also with them. It will be a 2010 MINI S.... and I will be posting pics once we got it.

Oh, cool, we were just up in Garden Grove earlier today getting the repairs mentioned a few posts prior to this.
We have some friends who purchased from Irvine. Seems like a good place.
Hey! Nice to see you here! That is one nice car you have there (the other car in the photo is ok, I suppose ). Anyhow, welcome.
What! That old thing?! That's my husband's car, it's alright I guess. It also has an "S" on it and kind'a like a sunroof, but it doesn't have mood lighting!
My daughter has a Civic Si w/ V Tech and she's thinking of putting together a 3-way competition but she said she's afraid she'll finish a strong 3rd.
White stripes may be in the minority - but they look good with SS!
They certainly give the color a different look. And its good that we all like different things or else all of our cars would look alike (like Hondas or Toyotas).
I think it looks great new paint job so the body shop is located in Garden Grove? I think it's good to know just in case.
Yeah, I bought my 2008 PW/B MINI at Irvine and they are good in service.
The reason I ended up in Garden Grove for the body/paint work is because of a service contract I bought. When I bought my car, the financing guy talked me into a program where if my car ever got a ding or a scrape or a paint chip or scuffed wheel, this place would take care of it, up to 4 times a year, for 5 years. I have no idea what they would charge someone just off the street, I just know I didn't have to pay to get this done because it was covered. If you want, you can PM me and I can send you their info.
When I was building my SS, I gave Irvine a chance to become my dealer, but it was just easier for me to stay with my SD county dealer.
