Sparkling Silver Owners Club

I have not seen any bronze on SS Minis. Most people have white or black stripes, some with the dual stripes and other with the single wide stripes. Some have black stripes with white outline on the hood. I have not seen one , but the wide red rally stripes over the hood and top would look good.

i was thinking either bronze or gold rims, with matching scuttles. i guess its time to use MS Paint. haha.

I just got rid of my white rims and opted for black R113 rims (new pic below). However, I am really liking the orange rims with matching orange mirror covers look - but not doing any more changes anytime soon.

I am new to the club here. I bought a 2007 Mini Cooper SS/B last year. I am actually getting her some new shoes today!! Pretty stoked. Getting "Margaret Thatcher" (My Mini's name) some high gloss black rims custom painted. Before and After pics to come as soon as possible. Love the MINI COOPER SS support!

Found this on ebay; 1:18 scale SS R56 MCS. UK seller. Currently at $82.46 USD. I don't think I can justify that much, but have to say I am tempted.

2011 SS Clubman
Welcome to the SS club. I noticed yours is a Justa. Not sure you have standard or auto. Mine is auto. I tired 17 inch wheels but I could really feel the extra weight slowing the car down. I settled for 16 inch Rota and have been happy with them. So I recommend 16 inch wheels.
See my gallery for pics of my 2011 Clubman SS. Good luck and welcome.

If 007 drove a Mini Cooper
Don't know if anyone has mentioned it on this thread before but lets face it. If James Bond drove a Mini Cooper it would be Sparkling Silver...
Picking up a 2 owner 2007 71K Flappy Paddles Auto (non S) tomorrow.. Justifying the purchase in the sure and certain knowledge that the car will wind up being called James or JB (Unless 'She who must be obeyed' has other thoughts' ...
(Oh in case you are wondering, I have driven standard and auto and the 6 speed auto kicks the standards ***.. faster gear changes than I can do with the clutch, plus manual option and a little button that says SPORT ...vroooommm)

Speaking of names, I have yet to name mine. Was trying to find a sparkling wine or winery name. Funny thing is I came across a Welsh one that the new owners that are producing award winning sparkling wine, their last name is Morris.
Other than trying to figure out a wine name, so far I'm thinking Kip.
