My 68 year old wife bought a 2011 SS R55 "Lulu" a month ago it is a fun car. Will get tinted next and then 17"Rota RB's and some 215/45 17's to go with the wheels. I will keep my Toyota Prerunner and the Ford Expedition for now. We will leave "Lulu" pretty much stock as I am getting to old to be laying on the garage floor playing. No if I get a Hardtop then all bets are off.

Count me in
I bought my 2009 Clubman S 2 months ago. Love the color although its name doesn't seem to match. It has just under 100,000 miles. My guess is the dealer added the pin stripe on the sides. It originally was bought by a Texas florist. I bought it from a friend in my Austi-Healey Club here in Oregon. My screen name is the name we've given the Mini.

Sparkling Silver
I have a 2011 Sparkling Silver Clubman. It was the last year of the Sparkling Silver option. I have noticed that Mini has a similar color but not sure what it is called. Not sure what you mean about it not matching, but to me the name of the color does not match how it looks. Its more a metallic green to me. Anyway, when they are wax and sitting in the sun, the color really comes out. Check out my gallery pics.
I had the roof checkered with mat black checks and dual hood stripes and checked side. Also, I had the rear tail light surround and bumper tops painted to match the color of the car. Other changes include European tail lights and European drivers side mirror( which totally eliminates the blind spot). Recommend you get them.
Mine has approx 87,000 miles and has been very dependable. I wanted a turbo model but was afraid of the extra long term cost of a turbo, sure miss the power.
Good luck with your Mini. They are fun to drive

SODA66, I like the checkerboard on the sides and top of your Clubman.
A few weeks ago mine stopped recognizing the key remote control, Had to take it 120 miles to the dealer in Portland to get it repaired. They loaned me a 2017 Clubman S at no charge to take home until mine was fixed. They really changed the car with the Series 3. It was much less fun to drive, but I expect they sell better because they are now a 5-passenger family sedan. It proved to me I have exactly the model of Mini that I could want.
The problem with the remote is the antenna within the inside mirror had corroded because a replacement windshield was installed without being fully sealed across the top. My windshield was chipped so I had no problem agreeing to a new windshield as well as mirror. They alerted me to a number of oil leaks they said they found which would cost more than $4,500 to fix. It isn't dripping any oil so it can't be that bad. In any case my Austin-Healey has leaked for all the 45 years I've owned it. I told the service rep "It's British. Of course it leaks oil."

Roof strips
Hi North America SSOC!
I'm from down under Singapore. Took delivery of my SS MCS on 31st July 08 and loving every moment of it. Here is a photo of it after adding in some stripes in dry carbon fibre.
Attachment 166265
Just added in a carbon fibre scoop lately (delivered from UK!) but not yet take any photos of it. I hope I can get some black wheels soon and share with y'all more photos.
Anyway, this forum is really cool. Many photos, many instructions, many posts and many ppl! We have a small community here in Sg @ www.minisg.com
And is there a logo for SSOC? Would anyone mind emailing me if there is? (I'll PM you my email addy.) I would like to make a decal out of it and have it on my ride.

It's been a while, but did you match the SS color on the roof and where did you get the carbon fibre for it?
