FIZZI is now MYSTIC

I have decided to change FIZZI's name to MYSTIC. I feel the new name more matches it. Also, that was a name I had in a chat I was involved with, after experiencing a few strange encounters.

So you've found your car's character and now a name to match it!

awesome... congrats...

i was actually tossing around the idea of Mystique (the xmen character) as my cars name because it depends on what lighting shes' in as to what color she shows up as... it doesn't feel right though...

I was searching for the thread with the list of names people have given their Minis. Would you happen to know the title? I'd like to see if a name I'm considering has been used.

So, I started my mods, slowly. Cooper S license plate frames, S valve stem covers, MINI and Brit Flag license plate screw covers. Hey, I had to start somewhere! Next will be window/sunroof tinting. Then illuminated door sills. Yeah, I know $300 is a lot for door sills. I guess that's why they call them sills. Eventually, I will changes the speakers on my "HIFI" but I will wait until I hear more about choices and installer experience with the R56.

Mod update. I got my windows tinted Sat. 5% on the sunroof and 20% on the windows. On the ride home from the tinting place, I was amazed how much difference it made in the interior temperature. I also put on the rear bumper protector. I'm not sure what will happen next. I wasn't planning on doing any real mods for a while, but it may help take my mind off other things.

May I ask what kind of bumper protector? I haven't found anything reasonable (performance or style-wise). Enjoy!

Clear one from minspeed. This is for the top lip of the rear bumper. It seemed kind of thin before I put it on. But, mounted, it seems like it can offer some protection.
