General MINI TalkShared experiences, motoring minutes, and other general MINI-related discussion that applies to all MINIs, regardless of model, year or trim.
The article says they are 17", which is what I want. From the pics, though, it also looks like they have a much better offset and might be 7-1/2" wide, both of which would rule. MINI needs to make some 7-1/2" wide wheels.

I like the MINI CSL look of these.
they also look like they are computer generated, which may mean they will not look as good once they do come out
Nice car!!! Won't be street legal...too many changes have been made. Great car for the track, although since the Challenge isn't big over here I don't see many making it Stateside. Still, it's nice...and coming from the factory!!!

You could be right. Sure is a good looking design, though. I'd love to see some nice one-piece 17 inchers with a racy look to them. (I wonder if we could get some 17" Porsche GT3 style wheels made with a 4x100 pattern )
I see. On a 'puter with a much bigger monitor now. They do look computer generated. Still..... drool....

You could try and get those rims and run adaptors to fit our 4x100

The Porsche wheels are 19", and I believe the "narrower" fronts are 8" or 8.5" wide, so that's no good; they just plain wouldn't fit. And I'd bet they cost an arm and a leg anyway.
Ferrari has 2 in the FXX and the Challenge Stradale, MB has the CLK-DTM, its just like the 60's where you could buy a race ready car from the factory. Why not MINI?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't M2 have an article a little while back talking about how they are trying to bring the Challenge to the States and It was also discussing a ready to go racer that was being developed. If that's the case we should see quite a few coming our way. Dependent on the quantities.
Pretty sick whip none the less.

After spending some time painting around the car, I'm pretty sure these were post processed somehow, if not computer generated. In any case, I've made 2560x1600 versions of the front and rear shots into some cool desktop backgrounds by knocking out the car and desaturating the background.

Someone want GT3 wheels on a MINI? That a joke, right?
Fronts are 19 x 8.5 and rears are 19 x 12 both running R compound Michelin cups. They'd probably cost more than the MINI for the wheels and the tires
