The Unpossible Road Trip
Well, as many of you know, Stoopid and I have moved back to the east coast. So, I had to get our stuff and ofcourse my MINI here with us. I flew in to AZ packed 3 5x7x8 ft pods full of our lifes stuff and then the MINI. The MINI contained 500 lbs or so of stuff not including me.
The MINI is twincharged as you guys know and is making an unpossible 400WHP daily. Obviously as a TC car it is unpossible for it to make a cross country trip.
Here's the contents of the MINI:
16 inch run flat (spare)
Two full size Alienware computer towers
5 portable HDs (totaling 1.75 terabites)
9 computer speakers
large suit case
8 pairs of shoes
king size comforter
box o comptuer stuff.. wires, cords, mice, two keyboards etc etc
tools (just in case, she is twincharged and they are unreliable)
aluminium jack
two jack stands
funel
three hand made turkish pillows (for between stuff)
Xtreme Mac Ipod Alarm clock
Small Garbage can full o stuff
large milk crate full of stuff
cigar box ( I dunno it's kewl)
ok this list is getting long but I think you get the point...
So I drove for 30 some hours straight... only stoping for gas and monsters... oh and pee breaks which I tried to time with the gas... only turned off the MINI if I had to go inside...... and had no problems... Say it with me now "THAT'S UNPOSSIBLE!"
I have to appologize as I had this great Idea of taking pics along the way... but the further I got into the trip the less fun that became... as the sleep deprivation set in... along with the fact that I took out my AC (I was in an area that was not so hot at the time and wanted less pulleys etc) it all kinda faded to the back burner...
it reached 104 degrees out there around TN... and that was to say the least uncomfterble... I counted the seconds for the sun to set
here's some pics:

Not totally finished packing but you get the point

Rolling out 8 PM
MINI!
passenger seat of mini with my traveling buddy dunny
and last but not least... a pee break photo....
It was quite an expirence driving from AZ to NC with out stopping... wish I had taken more pics... but like I said... when you are going for that long... the 5 seconds it takes to take a pic becomes an eternity.. LOL...
P.S. incase you didn't know I am totally kidding about the TC minis being unreliable... mocking even...

[quote=CR&PW&JB;1699394]Okay... I'll bite. Why did you drive 30 straight hours instead of making it a two day trip with a night's sleep in between ? [/QU
had my computers in the car.. and didn't want them getting hotter than nessisary.. keeping moving keeps the wind moving...
moreover I wanted to get home to Stoo...
uhhh I'm gunnah have to say you... never noticed that before.. I think it's just the angle there... LOL...

And is it me, or are those evergreen shrubs in the first pic trimmed in the shape of a set of ***** ?
