Vanity plates

hahahah...I love it! I've been trying to find a way to incorporate the S in the way you have used it but haven't had too much luck. I was thinking of "HAULN S" or "S MAN" but just not sure. I may go with a whole new route all together.

That's great.
I sent my request in almost as a joke not really expecting to get it.... and true to my expectations, I did not.
The reason for the rejection was it may be "considered in poor taste".
The fact that the gov't (albeit state level) told me that I couldn't have it because it may be considered in poor taste pissed me off.
Wearing white after labor is in poor taste. The gov't can't stop you from doing it so I fought it.
I called the lady at the DMV and here's my story from another post.

So far I received the registration, the plate is probably about another week out.

Having said that, she also told me that if you send in a letter giving an explanation as to why you want the plate, they would put it in front of a review board.
I think there is a fine line between what the DMV can allow and our freedom of speech.... so I'm not really sure how much they can allow/deny.
....how did you get FORDGASM passed by 'em?
I just came back from Phil Wicks driving school about a half hour ago and was hoping the plate would have come in the mail....
No such luck, not quite.... when I called last week after receiving the registration but not the plate, I was told it was still at the "plate manufacturing plant".
Wouldn't it be much easier to say prison?

I thought of another cute plate:
Ps & Qs -- as in "watching my Ps & Qs."
For those not familiar with the origination of this phrase: Ps & Qs means watching out for yourself. It also stands for "Pints & Quarts"...as in the drinking kind! (In England, i believe) The story goes that in a pub, one must watch one's pints & quarts, so that no one sloshes you. I was told the story started back in the Industrial Revolution era, but hey...it applies.

Gnigel gets a nametag
Hi all! I've had my 2002 BRG Cooper for almost a year. I adopted him from an awesome couple who were his first family. I have a secret obsession with garden gnomes, thus the silent "g" in Gnigel. I ordered his plates last Thursday, and maybe by the time they show up I will learn how to post pictures
On a related note, I saw the funniest MINI license plate a couple of years ago. It was being towed behind an RV in Texas on its way to Louisiana, and the plate said "IPUSHRV." It still makes me laugh to think of it.
