There is an option for black c-pillars, if you do it yourself. That's what I did, I'm just waiting for my next paycheck to do the bumper bit. You can order stock black c-pillars from the dealer or pelican auto, installation takes like 5 mins for each piece and a torx screwdriver.

Look...matching pillars are now available. http://www.motoringfile.com/2009/01/...pillar-option/

I'm joining the midnight black club too. I don't have great pics of my 2009 MC yet but it is what I have in the signature and I have a sunroof. Although I read someone asking about it being true black and I would have to say I think it is but only at a distance up close you can see the metalic and at least on cloudy days it actually looks kinda grey. I got mine around the 14th of January.

Supertramp! Great name
Some folks that have their info in the signature ordered their Mini's through a dealer, so they had access to the "Where's My Baby" link in the ol.miniusa.com web site, which, if visited often, would display what stage of production the car was in (ordered, production, ect..).
Your MA might have this information on hand. I can't be 100% sure about that, but there should be some record regarding your car's life cycle. If that doesn't work you can try calling MINI and give them your VIN.

I'm ordering a 2010 MCS this Saturday. I think I've settled on Midnight black. It was a tough decision between Midnight Black, Chili Red, Laser Blue, and Dark Silver. I like the black the best though. It looks so classy. I've never owned a black car so hopefully I don't regret my decision.

I have realized I need to go out and take better pictures, after looking at the quality of AGVMINI's photos...
At any rate, here's Noir, my new Midnight Black Metallic Cooper S.
PS
To those who say this is a true black... I am not sure what you guys are looking at, but after Klasse All in One Cleaner, Klasse Clearcoat Seal \ Protectant, and S100 Wax... in the sun, this color definitely has a brown metallic to it. It's no where near true black.
