I need to get back into it, they are always so well received.

WOW! You've really put yourself out there for criticism! Good for you.
I'm glad that you got rid of the Suzuki thing because when I first read it, I felt like that was the car a person SHOULD buy... thankfully, I know better!
When I see this snow ad, I think...
CHILL...
Bring on the SNOW!
(or something like that)
Perhaps I am a bit more confrontational with snow! Or maybe it has something to do with being a big dog in a little dog body?
Good luck on your project!
Nabeshin- that IS a nice paint pic of the car that you did.

Speaking of which. This is most likely the final composite. Opinions and feedbacks are of course greatly appreciated, and I may make small adjustments and changes based on them. Thanks everyone for your input and help.

Very nice. I'd nudge the car over to the right just a bit. Right now, the front tire is right in the gutter, but if you shift it about 1/4 inch (or maybe just scale it up a little), the spine will run through the door which will make it a little less noticeable. You can then also make the headline a bit bigger to fill up the left panel a bit more.
I'd flip all of the content at the bottom around. Put "The new MINI convertible. Always Open" on the right side, right aligned; and flip the content of the bottom box so the name of the car is on the left side, and the logo is on the right edge, with miniusa.com just to the left of the logo. That way your eye flows from the headline to the car to the always open line to the logo.
I don't think you really need the second, more specific caption, but it does help balance the composition.

A lot of good feedback. 3 of my classmates came up to personally tell me it's a really good ad and that they liked it a lot. A few asked how I did it and what program and if I took the photo of that car. 1 classmate did say he didn't like the phrase "It's just a bit of" and preferred "It's just a little" My professor gave a few positive comments and moved on. Which I took as a good thing since she usually loves to point out a lot of things that could have been improved in projects. Overall it's positive stuff.

Well, "Just a bit of snow" is more British than what your classmate suggested—the use of the word "bit". It's completely fine. I'm also in Graphic Design and when I looked at your very first post and I liked them. I did notice spacing errors, incorrect use of hyphens, commas and capitalization. Did you only hand in the one ad?

New Update:
I got a e-mail from my professor telling me my final project was the highest scored project among my class! My final score: 96 points. She also wanted a digital copy of my project to keep in her teaching portfolio.
I just want to credit everyone for helping me through all my drafts whether is small mistakes like a period to layouts. Personal thanks to artmem! <if you ever come down to Boston, I need to buy you dinner or something>
On another note, I finished this semester with 3 B's and 2 A's resulting in a 3.4 GPA.
