Looks good!

..nothin' wrong with "Ling Ling" ...a cool/fun name really!

..and, a pepper white clubman w/blackout is exactly what I want to eventually have as our 2nd Mini in the garage!

..the black scoop looks fine too, ..the black side scuttle/fender panel though I think maybe breaks up the flow along the side..imho...

The stripes are definitely cool to look at. Were the ones on Violet different? I don't remember them being flat black.

Oh, and don't chill. That's no fun.

The ones on Violet were the same color purple but they were all purple with thick purple pinstripes too. I think this looks much better. The subtlety of the thin purple pinstripe plus the logos make it work. And then the "S"s sneak in there as well.

Very cool! The entire car looks "complete", like it came from the factory that way. And I agree, the emblem looks awesome.

I installed the Powerflex upper engine mount bushings (the 2 large ones). What a difference in shift feel .

Appreciate it. Still wondering about the sides. Nice thing is, if I don't like it, just peel away.

Gave my MINI a wash the way the good detailers do it. Pressure washer, foam cannon, Meguiar's Hyper-Wash and a Belgian waffle micro-fiber drying towel. Richard Lin at Show Car Detailing showed our club how to do it correctly. Does it ever work slick. Dirt just flowed out of all the seams and it was fun to boot. 10 more washes and I'll have paid for all the equipment! LOL

Personal no touch, or was agitation needed?

I never touched the car until it was thoroughly rinsed with the pressure washer and then only with the drying towel. The dense foam of the Hyper-Wash lifts off the dirt and it just flows off. Still have a few petrified bug guts, but they're getting the wet towel treatment right now. Suppose I should clay it, but procrastination's easier, LoL.

First Seafoam cleaning of the intake. Along with the belching came a CEL for multiple misfires. Hookup of the code scanner to clear her symptoms, she was good to go.
