I just went shopping for a spring set minus the struts. I don't want a full suspension upgrade, just an inch drop or so. Found them, and they're VERY affordable. Quite impressed with myself today!

A Testament to Griot's Garage...

I have not been feeling well, but got a Wild Hair and decided to detail (exterior) the Molly Car. I am a die hard Griot's Garage Fan and use their products exclusively on Molly. Tonight's detail included...
1) Wheel Cleaner
2) Tire Cleaner
3) Vinyl & Rubber Dressing
4) Car Wash
5) Spray on Wax

Pics. don't do Molly justice, but taken late tonight in our garage...enjoy!!

I gave mine a name, Mary Jane, I'm a huge Spider-Man fan for almost 40 years thus the Webhead handle I use for forums and XBox and she's a little mean Red Head.

I also tried using a crappy lens un-clouder product. Turtle Wax product sucked..... any ideas for a better one?

My wife and I just got back from a little "staycation". We stayed in Sausalito, and drove around Marin and Napa wine country. We saw Ray Manzarek when we had lunch at Morimoto's.

On Saturday morning we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, Murray Circle. The Ferrari Owners Group (FOG) had a little run that weekend and also had breakfast there. I felt like a kid in a candy store. Sorry for the crappy video, it was all I could do to keep my hand steady.

I got a call from the dealer today saying that they fixed the cold start rattle, and they wanted me to authorize a tear down to look at the clutch rattle 10 hours of lobar at the price of $2000.00 if they find excessive wear.. I ok'd it, I just hope I don't get stuck with a $2k repair bill.

CF Vinyl Wrapped My Interior

Never liked the mottle silver dash on my '02 MCS since I purchased it a year and a half ago, finally did something about it. Bought a roll of Carbon Fiber Vinyl and spent an entire day on my interior and I absolutely love it.
Here are a few pictures:

Just ordered a replacement OEM thermostat, OEM thermostat housing and OEM auxiliary audio input kit. I'm really hoping to get this coolant leak under control. Very disheartening to have only had my MINI for 3 weeks to find it's leaking coolant, but I can't find any puddles or drips anywhere, and all other signs point to the thermostat.

I'm crossing my fingers it truly is the thermostat, because I've fallen in love with this car and don't want to have gotten one that is going to require lots of maintenance costs.

Decided it was time for a slight change in appearance to the car so I'm sitting in Lyle's waiting room now. Pics on their way. Hope it stops raining here, what is up with the bizarre weather anyway?

I'm doing a mashup of Vinyl Styles and 504 Designs. I can't wait to see it on the car now.
