Ordered NM's adjustable rear sway bar end links. Finally figured out how to adjust them level while on the car. They come pre-set for NM's RSa springs which I've already got! Planned (?) it that way. WOO HAA!

Painted my headlight rings and scuttles white. Messed up on the passenger scuttle but I'll redo that later tonight when it cools off. I think it looks pretty cool tell me what you guys think!

So glad I checked in here today - I'll be heading down there later in the week and never knew about the Parkway. Of course, the MINI's back home garaged and I'll be in a Suburban with four kids in the back. Somehow, I don't think that will be quite as fun as your ride.

I installed my Aero grill (upper only, not ambitious enough for the lower.) on my R50. Blacked out the lower grill and the lowest chrome bar, ghetto tape for now but will properly sand and paint shortly. I also removed the enormous "ID tag management system" or whatever MINI called their gigantic plate holder. It sat up high covering up much of the lower grill.

My intake came with an aFe bracket. I blacked out the white logos so it's a little more subtle, and used double sided tape to affix it just covering the holes in the bumper from the original bracket. Now it sits close to flush and much lower, showing off the grille blackout. I had it a half inch too far to one side, and i bent the plate trying to remove it.. half an hour later, it's on properly and centered, and I'm confident it isn't going anywhere.

Before:

And After:

In addition to this stuff, I also installed my AUX kit, and removed the rear headrests for better rear visibility.. no one rides back there anyway.

anchored my stuffed "Shaun The Sheep" to my cargo cover in back of my clubman, so he can stare at the "regular" cars behind me..

Looks great Mike! I'm a big fan of chili red and white, looks clean and a little more unique. CR/B is a great color combo, but I just see it a lot so it no longer "pops" for me.

danny, ...that grill is looking much better...nice job. ..the license plate better too!
..I live in a front plate state too....I hate the stupid front plate! I've been motoring without mine for a while..takin' a chance. since the holes were already there...I mounted a couple of studs & just cap them with a couple of nuts I painted black...keep the plate under my seat....my plan: if ever stopped for the lack of front plate...I'm gonna explain how I just recently had to redo my mounting brackets..and wait for it to "dry"..then proceed to slap the plate on...which I can do in @ 20 seconds

..what size/brand tires you have on there? ..they look nice n wide n meaty.

Haven't done anything to Coop yet but I received my Vmaxx's on my door step yesterday! Hopefully this weekend I can find some time to install them! Best part is, I ordered them last Friday, they shipped Tuesday due to the holiday weekend and I received them yesterday with ground shipping! I was pretty happy with UPS and Stratmosphere to say the least!

..I'm considering to order these...

..have you done coilovers and/or springs on Mini before? coilover install easier than doing lowering springs over existing dampers..yes?

..can you report back with some before/after pics...& maybe even a couple of pics during install?

..have fun!

Nice C-lop! I've got a rack on the way and have been thinking of a similar setup. I wanted to see what it would look like on my car so I took some cheesy photo shop liberties. I also added a couple goodies!

Haven't done much work on a mini before so this will be a new experience although coilovers can't be much different to do. I will do my best to get some pics during and will definitely take pics before and after!

Well I went and did it....... my steering wheel emblem was scratched up and got to messin with it.......yep, ruined it! figured out how to get it out tho. Felt like a bomb squad guy diffusing a bomb!! lol didnt need a face full o airbag! Anyway, after some thinkin and testing things to cover my mistake, the fix became a hood emblem affixed over the wheel emblem. Oh man, my heart sank when I ruined the wheel emblem. Lesson.....if you pull a thread on a sweater, it will most certainly unravel!!
