Plasti-Dipped my Gas Cap (awesome!), also did the chrome bar across the trunk (awesome!), and the "cooper" (left the S alone (Awesome)

and put on my "actual size" sticker!

The music is all me. I wrote it, played the bass and all the guitars, and programmed the drums (a sequencer and samples are a lot easier to work with than a real drummer outside of a recording studio and sound good enough for demos). I still need to write lyrics for it (and many others I have sitting around).

Who needs lyrics, put that puppy on a CD and send it to me!!

Put a new clutch in, it took four days. Now the starter won't engage with the new flywheel, so I took it all back apart, in three hours...

Now I don't know what the problem was/is...

Today: got my baby about 1.25 inches closer to the ground...with the install of NM springs.

...oh, my aching back.

Put a KPtechnologies auto open sunroof module in. It's nice not having to hold the button the whole time to open and close it. Thanks OutMotoring!

Thanks guys

...just a conservative drop for now....but one day...I'm gonna have a totally slammed MINI....like "brandon h" & "Rally"!

..another pic...can see it gave a bit of neg camber in back.

..up front I removed those guiding pins & shifted the mount over a bit for the "free" neg camber...

NO DISASSEMBLE, STEPHANIE!!!

Cool. When you get the right new parts, you can "reassemble, Stephanie" and it'll be better than ever....

Any chance you'll get it back together in time for MitM?

C ya,
Dutch

No Joe I'm afraid not, I'm going to take my time with it and do a full motor build, so the car wont be there until next year. I know it sucks but, it was better that the rod bearing decided to spin out near my house 2 weeks before MITM, than have it go out on a ride at the event. I could probably throw a new bearing on the #1 rod, slap it back togeather and have it run to go up there but, I really dont want to chance it coming apart again. I was lucky once in the sence that there really isnt much damage, but if it happened again I probably wouldnt be so lucky.
I am still going up to MITM, but unfortunately I will be driving a POS Ranger. If you want you are invited over to the house to see the car, Its only about an hour from WP.

Brought new MINI Cabrio home, installed all the stuff I removed from traded R57. Cleaned, waxed and painted calipers red. A good time to do it with only 43 miles on them. Next blackout all chrome and get it tinted.

I finally got back Winston from the "MINI" doctor. He was in for his Midlands transmission repair. He now sounds....well he doesn't make transmission sounds now at all. Thank goodness! So to celebrate I gave him a Prima spa treatment. And tomorrow he gets to make a 400 mile journey to Memphis!
