That's hilarious! It's like trying to type "******" on the iPhone! ROFL So ... yes, D I C K had it right before I even answered! LOL
I tried to type "every Tom, D I C K and Harry" one time and they edited that! LOL I'm glad my name isn't D I C K. I wouldn't even be able to put my own name in a posting!
took most of the day. Had to make template, cut a 8" piece of aluminum bar in two pieces, figure out the recess on the bottoms location, make six special stainless nuts to set down into plate,...ect....I enjoyed it tho.
Thanks for the kind words...
Those are beautiful! Now that you've got the template and measurements you really should make and sell them.
i can't afford to stay with mini, i'll probably pick up another KIA or a hyundai.
i've sunk so much money into the car to keep it maintained only for it to take a crap 6 months after i bought it.
Saturday Koni FSD shocks will be installed. Can't wait!!
Installed Koni FSD shocks. Holy Cow! Along with the H-Sport RSB and lower engine mount, what an incredible difference. Cary corners like a champ now... with the RSB the understeer was pretty much eliminated and Cary was carving corners relatively flat. With the addition of the shocks, almost entirely flat cornering and rocking from quick shifts is GONE!! All I need at some point is a really nice set of sticky tires and I wonder how much better still he will perform in the twisties. Thanks, guys for all of the advice from earlier posts. I really appreciate it.
swung by the dealer to pick up the glove box organizer and they gave me a black "let's motor" license plate frame that they had sitting around in their break room.

Sorry to hear that. What year/type of transmission was in your mini?
In other news, I heard a survey on the radio last week that said Kia and Hyundai had among the best repurchase rates among previous owners.

it's an 03 CVT. i could drop another CVT (used) in for about $1600 if i did it myself but it just doesn't seem worth it considering how long a used one would probably last.
