I thought Griot's had something else besides just this, 3M Specialty Adhesive Remover, but it might help too.

Not sure what rear sway bar you have (stock), but my 07 MCS had a 17mm bar and I replaced it with a 19mm H-Sport bar and set it to the middle setting. WOW!!!!! What a different in steering and virtually no understeer. Bought mine from www.waymotorwork.com

Great upgrade along with your Zimmerman rotors and Akebono Euro pads.

It all looks good but I wouldn't know what the heck I'm reading anyway.

Dumb dumb dumb dumb! I backed mine into the garage door this morning. My garage door sometimes has a mind of its own, and after it went up it apparently start back down. As I was backing out the bottom of the door hit right across the rear window. Luckily the score is Mini 1, Garage Door 0. Mini came away without a scratch. Whew!

Some days you just shouldn't get out of bed.

Kirby11-----between your garage door having a mind of it's own and the Mini sometimes having a mind of IT'S own, you're in deep poopoo.

Some where going easy but others were driving "flat out". This was my first time with the Mini on the track so I was somewhere between. It was cool to see the classic Minis out there.

"Jack be nimble Jack be quick" just added the y since the Mini is sooooo responsive and quick and nimble in the turns. Made sense at the moment anyway.

She's got Sport Suspension, I thought that was a 22mm Sway Bar, I think the term I should have used was "Strut Brace"??!!

You can bet I'll be doing some more shopping with Way, he is who I bought the Zimmermann Rotors from!!

Ya, if you already have the larger rear sway bar a good upper strut brace bar is also a good investment. I've got a alloy one from MiniMania that's really nice quality but not cheap. Attached thumbnail of mine.

After staying up half the night with a sick cat, I tried out the WD-40 on the smudge this morning. Worked like a charm! Thanks so much for the suggestion. Now on to determining if the scratch on my windshield is real, and why my car seemed to backfire last week. I guess they don't stay "new" for long!

Ramsey and his "friends" got new front plates today.
For those of you who live in "one-plate states" you don't understand how big a deal this is! I'd rather no plate in the front, but it's nice to have something different for a change, and be able to raise money at the same time. If you are from VT, or are interested in supporting us in Irene recovery you can get one too! http://vtstrong.vermont.gov/

Sorry for the extreme close-up, but there isn't much room in the trailer.

Owned three weeks, already spending $$$

I just got my (new to me) 2005 R50 back from some work at Willis Auto Campus in DSM. Had the AUX cable installed for my MP3 as I really didnt want to wait til warm weather to try and tackle it myself. It plays awesome now.

I also got new boot struts and ordered a set of ALTA PERFORMANCE driving lights. Got a new aftermarket set of tail lights that I am going to try and install this weekend that really are going to look awesome I think, and will really set my car apart at least a little...

This is gonna BE FUUUU-UHHHHHHNNNN~~~~~!

Took out the stock AM antenna (does not effect FM reception and if I want talk radio I'll turn on the local repeater!) and put in a NMO mount, and a comet dual bander

When I first got the Yaesu 7800 I put it under the center stack, the whole radio. This made my 12v socket unusable and eliminated all storage space. Then I made use of the separation kit and put it above the BFC (Big Fing Cupholder) but while it was highly functional it lacked the clean appearance I wanted and the location was somewhat akward, and the main unit is attached to the footwell interior cabin airfilter cover. So now I've sort of split the difference, the main unit is in the same spot, however the control unit is at the base of the switch bank so now it's more natural access and a much cleaner more stock look. I've got to replace the velcro with an aluminum bracket once I get a new Dremel blade though then it'll be a solid connection, I've noticed I get a bit punchy with my fingers when pressing buttons while driving.

Here's a photo from install #1 I'll update tomorrow with how things currently are.

And the external speaker under the parcel shelf.
Oh man! I wish I had found this post earlier today.... I just ordered a boot-edge mount (comet CP-5M) and a Comet aCSB-750A antenna... I never realized I could remove that roof antenna and install a ham one instead. Oh well, we'll see how it goes with what I ordered.

BTW, I ordered an ALINCO DR-635T and will remote-mount the head for it. Glad to hear your experiences with the remote mount, although I think I'll try to get it below the stack somehow.

Hey there! Where did you get this badge? I'm a member of the Air National Guard and I'd LOVE to put one on my Mini. Please let me know where to get one.

Many thanks!
