^^^Looks nice and they appear to even be straight.
I've got some Megan Racing Coilovers I'll be installing pretty soon and I'm
really impressed with the looks and quality of their products even though some say they're crap. That exhaust looks killer.

Ok this is an exciting one for me...

Today I woke up and before to long it was almost 50 degrees headed toward 60. For those of you who aren't up north thats a pretty big deal this time of year. Even with the very mild winter we had I was getting anxious for spring to show up for good.

So I decided that the trailer I bought for my MINI last fall was looking a little rough and today I would begin to compound the (you know) out of it. I figured it was going to take a few tries since the oxidation was real bad.

After one quick process in a T-shirt I'll add I'm very happy with the results. I'll probably go once more before wax, but so far there is improvement.

But what makes me really excited... is that I couldn't wait any longer, and I've taken Ramsey out of his winter home!

I haven't gone any further than that photo, but after some fluid checks, and a good once over I may just need to cruise a little bit.
I am a little concerned that my truck spoiled me over the winter and I'm not going to be as happy in the MINI

Went to my parents garage and swapped out the dusty factory pads for akebono brake pads all around. While i had the breytons off i gave em a good scrub down and a nice coat of wheelwax. Im gonna love not having all that brake dust on my wheels every other day now.

Hope the pads help with the dust. Curious if they do since I had heard from a few owners that it’s the stock rotors that cause most of the dust - they’re soft. When my sensor told me mine were done, I found that the new rotors and pads (not OEM) eliminated the brake dust dramatically.

Albie, I can attest to the fact that Akebono Brake Pads do cut our 99% of the Dust. Now all I have to worry about are the Rears...man I can't wait for them to wear out too!!

Picked up a Yakima rack for my kayak. Haven't tried to fit it on my crossrails yet, but the lakes are open, so should be able to take the boat out soon!

Finally installed my summer wheel/tire set for the first time. Can't wait to try them out tomorrow.

Not totally sold on the look of the 17" Challenge wheels though... they might have to go next season or maybe I will switch them to winter duty.

Gave the MINI a deep clean today including using Black Wow for the first time on the trim. A.W.E.S.O.M.E. stuff!

Took a pic of the cleaned up MINI at the local Starbucks, while spending spring break with my son and parents in Tyler, TX.

Not difficult at all. It's like putting on a light coat of liquid wax. Just rub in it well.

So easy. The difference is amazing.

After testing the H&R 27mm front sway bar, I am extremely pleased with this mod. I can feel a huge different in front grip, even around town. I can feel both wheels holding about an equal amount of weight, rather than one side holding more in a turn. I took it up a Socal canyon (Encinal) to get a feel for aggressive driving. Man, I feel WAY more confident in the car now.

The only down side is that I have a slightly larger turning radius.

Thanks, I'm guessing less is more, as with any quality product.

Washed my car yesterday. Today I received some parts... new rubber, 205/45/17 General G Max AS03 to go on some s-lites until the 1552 wheels I want are released, also a new shift **** came in along with a spare hood scoop for the purpose of either painting or wrapping in vinyl. Lots of parts sitting around waiting to be installed now (coilovers are burning a hole in the garage floor, Saturday can't come soon enough)

It creates an unsafe situation when tint is dark enough so that other drivers can't be sure that you see them, i.e., that eye contact is not assured. It's a pet peeve of mine about tint that is darker than factory glass on front windows.
