Who knew...
I've had Mini Grace since 4/30/12. She's an 05 HB MCS and who knew I would love her so much!?! My husband has a power washer so she gets a shower weekly. Since I've gotten her she has received an oil change, a clay bar wax which has been amazing, a bushing job just last week, hydro waxes monthly, detailing constantly, a nail removed from her tire yesterday, and just today another bath and her K&N filter is drying now so I can spray that and put her back together. She also received Craven strut plates as prevenative measures. She's heading to San Diego next week for a 9 day vacation along with her love, "Roy", my husband's 05 convertible that he had to have 3 weeks after meeting my Mini Grace! I've learned the importance of clean quality fuel and she gets better gas mileage with her Shell diet. She's a graceful girl and I'm grateful for her. See you on the road, be sure to wave!
My AZNOptics festoon LEDs failed AGAIN so I had to switch back to OE bulbs AGAIN.
Very disappointing - I have been through multiple warranty sets and they fail within months. Do not buy these LEDs! Wonder when my LED city lights will fail again.
any reason your not using the "cheapy" ebay ones? ive used all ebay leds, no burnouts yet!
only "down side" is that you may have to solder in a 1k resistor btwn the 2 posts, to absorb the small bit of extra energy pulsing through the car, otherwise the leds will flash continuously.
MYT, nice plastidip work. I was thinking of adding some stripes using plastidip. I might do fog surrounds as well.
Today I dropped our R52 off for its last dealer visit. The 4 yr original warranty runs out in a couple of weeks. It is getting new trim around the back of the convertible top and some other odds and ends.
I actually dipped some of my car today as well. beltline, headlights, Tail lights, and Boot handle. Wheels are next, Thinking some white would be awesome.
I prototyped a shift **** for my car. Wanted something more low profile and thinner.
It is only 1.5" in diameter and 3.5" tall. Will install this weekend and see how it feels. After I get it right, Ill probably have one made out of Delrin.
Had the brake fluid stuff done at the dealership, all fluids tires etc checked.
After Betty saved my butt the other day I made good on my promise of a treat: had Austin Detailing give her a interior and exterior detailing, clay bar, whole works. She looks sexy!
Just changed my tires and wheels . Ditched the runflats for non-runflat brigestone potenza's. The car is so much smoother and feels that little bit lighter. Also have removed the 17"s-spokes for bbs air reps. Although I'm going to pop out the bbs centre caps and replace it with MINI or John Cooper Works caps.
