Good news, I just past 1200 miles, so I punched it up to 5k RPM getting on the highway this morning. You can really feel the turbo kick in winding it up like that. Bad news, it only lasted a few seconds as I hit 80 mph in a hurry and I had to back off.

Sweet!! Is Helix one of the intercoolers that don't require any modification to your stock bumper? I've read about so many IC's, that I can't remember which is which. Lol

Installed 17x7.5 Enkei m52s with 205/45 Grid019s, banged out a couple dents, and installed OEM mudflaps

Well guys,I just ordered the first of my DuelL AG stuff. Ordered the new Krone v2.2 front bumper w/ CF splitter, side skirts, carbon fiber side diffusers, and the Frog meter panel. Now, the 6-8 week wait for them to ship. My fender flares (smooth and pre-primered) from MiniMania were shipped today. Last week, I ordered some CraftSquare carbon fiber GT3 style mirrors that recently came out for the MINI (R55 & R56). I have about a 8-10 week wait on them. Hopefully, in a couple more weeks, I will get to order the Krone v1.2 rear bumper and the Crown exhaust (upswept pipes to fit with the rear bumper design). After that, a CF rear diffuser. It just depends on how quickly I can sell some more of my firearm collection.

Holy Aero Kit!!! When ever I looked at everything that you've done to Tackleberry, I wondered why no aero kit? Now I see you were going for something that NO ONE has. I was just on their site - pretty cool stuff, especially the rear bumper/diffuser. Looking at those side skirts on the silver MINI was a little annoying - but in black it will look pretty cool. Can't wait to see it when it's done.

What did I do today? Did the daily driving thing in the Kid for the first time all week. Since the water pump started leaking, I'm garaging him as much as I can until he's fixed up. I'm losing about a quart of coolant per 60 miles of motoring.

I ordered from DuelL AG North America (SSC Customs in Redwood City, CA). As far as price goes, everything I ordered came to less than $6000. I ordered the meter panel by itself (w/o gauges). I am going to source the US spec gauges myself.

Took her to the dealer for her Visual Check as well as some small repairs. When I bought it a piece of convertible top trim was loose as well as the armrest top had broken off so those are now shiny and fixed. Fit, finish, and rattles are much improved. They found the timing chain tensioner gasket had failed and was leaking oil so they fixed that - fingers crossed for a long-living happy, healthy timing chain.

Oh, and found out that it looks like someone had been topping up coolant with water, not 50/50 mix and they recommended a coolant flush with only 27k miles on it :( Time to research how to do it myself!

Deyolked the 08 non S today. Bulbs came in this morning (single base contact/side contacts at 180 degrees- bulb 1156 chrome/amber). Took all of 20 minutes thanks to JoanieB for helping me out with some last minute instruction! I didn't have to remove the lights, just worked from the wheel well and was able to push the yolk lenses out with the eraser end of a wooden pencil and then slide then toward the back with said pencil where I could just barely reach them to pull on out through the slot at the bottom. Love the new look. Please excuse Babydoll for being dirty, it snowed here a bit yesterday and it was 7 degrees to start the day.
