Treatment of Black Wow on all of the trim, fresh dose of Rain X on all of the glass. I'm doing further tweaking of my installation of Craven Speed's Universal Smartphone mount. Running USB power right up to the tachometer mount so we can interchange short cables that fit any phone models. It has been an expensive couple of weeks, new Yokohama tires and a new radiator from Way Motor Works.

Changed my transmission fluid, replaced lower motor mount, and replaced my worn belt tensioner. I must say, I've done a lot of DIYs including my LCA bushings and the tensioner was by far the biggest PITA I've dealt with so far. Had a real b**** of a time getting a couple of the bolts off. And took a lot longer than I expected.
All done with enough time to take a little cruise. Can spring please start so I have some runs to go on instead of projects in my garage.

On my old Lancer, I made the mistake of parking behind a lifted truck with a tow hook and when I came back to my car, the truck was gone and my front bumper was pulled off the car and laying on the ground..unfortunately there were no witnesses, but my license plate was dented badly, the old bumper had a hole through it and even the chassis was dented a bit, so I'm certain it was the truck....never again after that

I have already tinted the side markers to where I want them. Besides, I am getting ready to replace the fender flares. I bought a new smooth pre-primered set of fender flares to get painted along with my new DuelL AG body kit that is due sometime next montrh.

Dang!!! I would have cried. I thought I would have been safe. Where my car is parked in the picture is where it happened. Guess somebody wasn't paying attention because there was ample space to do any kind of maneuver up there. Oh well....I guess I am fortunate is was only the plate, but now the dent is an eye sore

installed more GT Mat!
now the whole rear has been done. managed to remove the quarter panels without removing the seats (this does require cutting the quarter panels some, then I dremel'ed out the cut to make it look nicer). still have to put the car back together. also did a good cleaning on those parts before i do!
its pretty amazing how Dirty the INSIDE of the car gets, behind the plastic!
also installed a new rear sunroof cover! $2 worth of black foam-core at walfart!

This shot looks like something from the Apollo Program. .
Thanks for the tech tip on the "no seat" removal

Just got a brand new battery installed in my r53. The factory one lasted NINE years! Decided it was surely time for a change when I had the radio on at the carwash and It died . Then again when I was having my tie rods / ball joints replaced and the mechanic left the key in the "on" position for 10 mins. That battery powered many good trips. R.I.P
