I never seem to get to this thread when Ive done something to Obie. Most recently, he got a new thermostat (again), and new ignition switch. Suspension pieces coming soon.
The Kid is getting his final free service today - should be getting rotors and pads... As much as I can't wait to get away from OEM, you can't beat free.
Added the finishing touch today. Metallic Charcoal pinstriping around, just below the windows belt moulding, and just above the drip moulding. Just enough color contrast for my liking.
Just thought about doing something to the interior that would make it look and feel better, but also reduce the rattles...
Opinions are more than welcome
Alcantara left column and left air vent
Alcantara speedometer and central air vents
Alcantara right column, air vent, speaker and door handle
Close up of speaker and door handle
I am very pleased with the result, it looks and feels much better than before.
Also the rattles are reduced considerabely
Since I have had Georgette for a year now, I decided to get her some goodies..Dinan CAI kit, Way Motor Works 15% pulley package and a loverly set of Hartge pedals off ebay...can't install yet as we had a flood in the house ( washer supply hose burst..check yours now!) and Service Masters have all sorts of fans and dryers everywhere...chaos..floors all torn up yeeeech.
When the dust settles and all is well I will install all these goodies and report!
BTW: If you call Dinan on the phone, you can get their CAI for $134.50 plus postage..that beats hell out of the 179.00 on the website.they will try to upsell you their software and such, but the intake is niiiice.
