It is. You never know. I love the drift it turns on and starts recording when the car turns on. It's saved me a couple times.

Had my JCW exhaust put on...nice! Subtle, but a little more snarl. I like it.

Clever. I will try to be a bit more specific next time to accomodate individuals of all intelligence levels.

Milltek header arrived. Can't wait to get it on the car and driving again.

Anyway, removed the OEM header that was in two pieces and installed the Milltek header along with a new OEM manifold gasket.

Need to post up some pics.

I read through that JSart copycat thread, I think more people should know about this, it seems very wrong and the vendor is not even owning up to it.

Anyway, back on topic, I got some JCW brakes installed.

I would like to ask you a question about this, as I am thinking about doing this, did you fill in the road / curb rash and such first or did you just spray it on?

If I did it I was thinking I might have to do a little patch work first.

You tell me .

Completely different shape, and material .The fact that they are in the same location is hard to is a given as its the only place they work.

Replaced the blown Integral Audio subwoofer speaker.

Which came first, the chicken or the egg? The Arc Audio amp had a wicked turn on thump for over a year, the sub starts to lose output, and sound bad, the amp blows up, replace amp and speaker is dead.?

Did the amp kill the speaker, or did the speaker kill the amp? Not that it matters, but both are now replaced...lol (altogether different amp, replaced the speaker with the same one I got from a friend after he installed another brand.)

So it looks like they ran them through a 3D printer to make a mould, added a little lip on the outside and started spitting them out in CF... So technically they are different.

Its kinda like a fake Rolex... Copied from the original, altered slightly, and nowhere near the same material. Still not a Rolex!

Plus if you look at your pics, the top corner and leading inside edge doesn't line up very well... Maybe you got the double stick tape in the wrong spot. :(

Glad I am ripping all the M7 crap off of my car... Just cant support a company who copied something without permission, and in fact was specifically told not to try and make their own by the original designer. Plus I cant stand, even have a little hatred for companies who go through sales records, just to hound former customers with emails!

I hope that more people support Joel on this one, and choose not to buy your copies. I also hope he is still thinking about getting a lawyer...

That is one Sweet Piece of Kit!

Did you install the sound deadening material also (aka the packing material)?

I am joking of course, but that really is a nice header going to look amazing once it gets that sweet blue hue on it!

Thanks! The car sounds a lot meaner now. Click on my link below (Thread), I included many more pictures of the install.

Hope it helps someone.

I only had one wheel with rock chips big enough to need work before just spraying over them. I took a file and smoothed them out enough to remove the edges of the chips in the paint/powercoat/whateveritis and then just sprayed over them. The satin black matches the plastic trim on the car very well, and hides small imperfections very well also....

HTH!

I made a home made rear seat delete, 20$ worth of wood, and 12$ worth of carpet from homey depot. it came out perfect.
