Wrapped all the chrome trim in gloss black. While cutting some of the excess vinyl off, some of the vinyl pulled the clearcoat and paint right off in one spot.
Thumbs down to whoever prepped this car before factory paint ..
Having my new Supercharger pulley, crank pulley, belt tensioner, belt, installed with coolent flush, brake fluid flush, supercharger oil changed (replacing screw with magnetic screw from WMW)

Are Fun flats OK in the winter? I really can't buy another set of tires right now. Another car is calling my name for my son. I really wish this car was the garaged car for the winter. It was grumpy this morning at 15 degrees. I just let her warm up a bit, then she's fine.

If they are All Season run flats you are OK, if summer run flats then no. Your sidewall might say whether it's All Season or not. If it doesn't say on your sidewall then it's probably a good chance you have summer tires.
this car was from Kansas, so I'll bet all season. I'll look. Thanks! They're in good shape however. No problems yesterday in the strange wake up call weather snow and freezing rain thing. I'm not in the mood yet! :>(
whatever you guys are saying about the nasties on the '05, I must have gotten one made on a Thursday. It's great, no leaks, etc. Just a love. Although at 10 degrees this morning, it did rattle a bunch in the dashboard for 2 seconds. Weird. Wasn't the engine. It does like to warm up for a few when really cold out. I don't blame it. I don't like to get going either at 10 degrees either.
Although I don't have the Red Barchetta. Love hearing Rush song while riding in my Mini '05 supercharged when I get the urge to step on the gas. What a ride! Otherwise love playing it on the bass. Yes, I can do that. Took me 1.5 years to learn YYZ note for note. OK.. OT>
Mine is a Clubman S with the run flats long gone so I bought the spare/tire hold down and molded tool kit holder that sits into the rim. Waiting for the took kit to come that I got off ebay. Saved about 150 bucks going this route vrs all of it from my local Mini Dealer.
I really like your before and after photos. I gives me a good idea what the real change is. The positioning on the car is good too!.
Dave
yeah, i figured it would be good to have some before/ after photos for comparison, because different camera capture low light differently, a single image is essentally useless, you really need to have a delta to have a good idea of just how much light is being put out.
as pictured, i havent aimed the lights. i set them by just eyeballing them, and i also set them conservatevely low so i didnt accidentally blind another driver while testing them, once i get them properly leveled and aimed, they will be far more efficient at transmitting light and will appear a good bit brighter
Washed/detailed in and out this morning like I do every two weeks but Burr....it was about 40 degrees - that's kinda cold in my part of the world Looks like we have a week or so of fairly dry weather coming up so maybe he won't look filthy again for at least a few days.
