as the last warm day here in Charleston for a few days, it was time to wash the car... especially as I practice the inorganic chemical arts, my car gets coated up with dust at work from time to time, which really looks awful...

After a week of letting Black Wow soak in and applying a second coat, then giving it another couple weeks, I am still very impressed at the results. Makes the black clean up much easier and still looks nice an black. Not overly shiny but not exactly a matt finish either. And again, used very little product. I like it a lot. Thanks OctaneGuy.

Installed a Scangauge, Stubby Antenna, and Cravenspeed STDs. Nothing special, just piece of mind I guess. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get around to installing new sway bar end links so my rear end stops creaking and popping

I gave my Mother my MCS to use for the week, since her car has a flat. So I'm "stuck" driving my MCS Clubman for a few days.

Installed a set of Koni sort shocks and H & R springs. Six hours of pure joy but the results were worth it.

Took it out for a ride to see how the OEM tires would do in sub-freezing temps (per mfg site not recommended below freezing - lots of warnings and all that) - it was around 29 degrees. Lovely ride, stopped to view the very choppy ocean due to high winds, came home. It was a good day!

My route to school has started icing, so there's now salt and grit on the road. My wheels are only 3 months or so old so I went ahead and coated them with white plastidip to help preserve the finish.

I wasn't sure at first about white, but I'm glad I went ahead with white; not really a fan of black wheels.

Now it needs a wash, the 3 consecutive days of rain really made this car dirty front to back; don't let the pictures fool you
