^^^ Nice looking Spice Orange. I just hope that oil's someone else's!
First time the Kid has been cleaned up since I blacked out the side markers, painted the rear calipers and had the Wilwoods installed.
Took him to my daughter's concert and he looked so handsome, I had to take his picture.

Put on the front plate for the first time in the car's life. Driving to Austin, TX tomorrow morning and I hear they're pretty strict on front plate. It's a $200 fine for no front plate, so there's a pretty big incentive for cops to pull you over for it.
It's pretty janky, I used 4 rubber twist ties from Home Depot and 4 velcro strips on the back to secure it. Here's hoping it doesn't fly away during the 13 hour drive...

Texas cops are only going to ticket TX registered cars for no front plate. Texas cops don't enforce the motor vehicle codes of other states. I drove my one-plate, outta-state car around Houston for over a month and didn't even get a second look from the local constabulary.

Who is strict, Wisconsin or Texas?

Are you originally from a state that doesn't require 2 plates? Since I'm only going to be there for a week, I figure the 10 dollars paid to attach the license plate is worth avoiding $200 in fines
More or less, yeah. It absorbs water from the atmosphere, and the water degrades it. It boils more easily, and can cause corrosion on some of the metal parts in the brake system.
It's like changing your oil--it's a lot cheaper to do it as preventative maintenance than to fix the stuff that gets damaged later on.

Cheap insurance. Plus, it doesn't take too long. Skip the dealer as anyone can do it. Easy peasy
