I have the stock 15" all season Continental tires which came with the car. They're pretty narrow....175mm I believe.
They're great for traction in snow.
I'll be putting R94 "Bridge Spoke" wheels on in a month or so and will switch back and forth in Fall and Spring every year.
I'm happy to hear about the longer wheelbase being even more stable because I hope to pick up a used Clubman as a second car in a couple of years.

But by all means, send over all the excess snow next year. I would love it.
I sold her today, the new owner took her away and I almost teared up. I will deff get another one in the future, but right now i need to focus on school and 0 debt.

A difficult decision, I'm sure, heresmymind but school and zero debt is around the corner and so will be another great MINI.
8:20p last night the wife tells me... "Do you have some work to do on the MINI on the backend?" I thought to myself, is this foreshadowing? My answer, "No, not that I am aware of!"
Well, there is a sound coming from the back somewhere. You might want to check it out! Great... pry the wheel off, yup, LR brake pad set is just past their service limit.
Good thing I had a spare set of Hawks on the shelf. Swapped out rear pads and off I go. All is well and back to motoring.
(Dont ask why I had a spare set of rear brake pads in the garage; I have no idea)
A good body shop that does a lot of custom stuff could probably weld all the mounting holes up and smooth out the body panels to shave them off. Not for me though, I dont even like them painted that much.
Took it to the car wash -- spray only -- and washed off what I hope was the last of the road salt. I hope we're finally done with snow, so I can keep the car looking good again!
I finally replaced my front leather seat bottom cover. Everything went better then expected, no broken clips, no airbag lights and the heater part works.
Saturday I will tackle the driver's side door lock.
