P3cars gauge looks great and matches very well. The bar gauge working with the digital number system make the gauge pretty cool. You can also read and clear CEL codes.

Top grill appears to be plug and play. 4 bolts off, swap, 4 bolts back on.

The bottom/middle grill snaps off with the use of a puddy knife? Start on either side and then the middle is secured by double-sided sticky tape?

I will try and take some pics as I fumbled through it. But I am pretty jazzed about it.

Thanks for confirming!

it's a lot more than 4 bolts, more like 10 steel squares(nuts).

Replaced the wheel bearings and it's still making noise. Must be the tire from off alignment

I am curious about the cost for the repair of the dive shaft though. I have that "sound" at initial drive away as well sometimes.

I know what it is. (love this site).

Installed my replacement antenna. Got to meet with the chevron people on getting the base fixed since their car wash knocked it good and it doesn't sit flush.

New brakes!

Today I just finished installing Cooper S 294 mm front rotors, new caliper brackets, rear rotors, Red Stuff pads, ECS braided brake hoses, and fresh DOT 4 fluid. 2 days ago the Cooper got a set of Lounge Leather front and rear seats. And finally I made a little solution to keep my console from sliding open. It's been a nice few days!

Come to the realization that after I replace the back glass that I should consider selling it and buy a mundane new Civic. The irony is most of the common issues are now properly sorted.

Weeeellpp this weekend I decided to to the control arm bushings with brackets. When they say this is a 4 hour job theyre not kidding! Also did inner and outer tie rod ends, all ball joints, all motor/tranny mounts, and serpentine belt. Oh also did the armrest retrofit with console and oddment tray under radio.

But I have so much more to do..... blackout beltline trim, black brushed metallic wrap for the white roof, st suspensions coilovers, rotiform wheels, rotors, pads, ss lines, new calipers all around painted green, mirror caps painted green, rear control arms, swaybar links all around, plus I plan on doing a projector retrofit in the headlights... oh wait i need to pay rent in there somewhere. haha. Im sure im missing some stuff in there too.

I am certainly not a "blackout" type person but I think this Blackline grill looks fantastic on your MINI, helveticahero.
