Seriously, try turning the camera 180 degrees. Maybe the stored image has a default side down.

An alignment? I'll say. How about right side up.

Had a CAE Ultra shifter installed. It's incredibly quick and tight… I think, It's an incredible upgrade for the DD, who really loves to drive. It's pricey, but it's worth the cost!

Discovered Benni has the head lights that adjust themselves, can't think of the name at the moment. I found out by some guys I work with were standing in front of Benni when I started her and they said the headlights moved up and down. They were shocked to see this so they had me turn the car off, sorry MINI, and start it again. Yep they moved up and down. I wasn't aware Benni had the adjusting headlights!

Finally changed my lower column the creaking and random pop sound is now gone. It feels much tighter. I also changed the oil.

The entire lower part is sold as a repair kit. I ordered it from Sewell. I'm not sure if they're still on nation wide back order, it took a little time to get mine.

Sewell was great to work with

Is this shifter really $850 better than the Craven adjustable short shifter? Just curious.

All I did to mine today was apply this.

I had some fun with the MINI today.

I gave him a bath today:

- I vacuumed and cleaned the interior.
- I changed out the cabin air filter and got rid of the "crayon" smell.
- Checked the battery water levels and added water as needed.
- Added air to the spare tire in back. (Getting ready to ditch the spare)
- Rear brakes were due. Went with Powerslot rotors and Stoptech brake pads.

And for fun, replaced the stock grill set with the black matte JCW grill set. More pics in the build thread.

I'm starting to wonder if I got the last one. I ordered it about early of April and got it towards the end of of April.

I typed in the part number on Google and MINI of South Atlanta now says NLA.

Saw the same thing. Now it looks like they want you to buy it by pieces.

In know. If you look at the breakdown, you cannot even order the main piece.

Thanks! I was thinking about how far it's come today although it was more along the lines of how light my wallet has gotten. Wouldn't change a thing about it, though. The car is peaking and after running around with a bunch of MINIS today, it holds it's own for a non-s. Here's a couple from today at MTTP 6

Ugly Spot = Time for a Mod.

Few months back, RI driver who missed physics 101 class thought he could place an object of equal mass in same spot......
So the guys at Inskip's Body Shop performed some painting/modding magic adding the GP1 body kit. They did a great job on blending the door....still looks factory.
