Installed the splitter that is available in the marketplace! I really like it. Used some Stainless Steel support rods to connect and an oversize washer underneath splitter and behind bumper for added support.

I apologize for the cellphone pictures

I restored my headlights and painted my headlight rings, bonnet scoop, and gas cap. What a productive morning!

Not much, also didn't do anything to it myself either. But it got detailed today and I had my headlights adjusted because they were pointing too low.

Had some winter tires mounted to the OEM wheels and put them on the car. Car looks so weird now... and I hate it more and more each time I go out and see it hahaha. I also topped off the oil. Got my tie rods and serpentine belt from ECS to. Getting those put on, on Saturday.

Used a USB Endoscope camera to look at and photograph the piston top, and changed the fuel filter.

I was in the market for some summer wheels for BUSTER. I couldn't help but notice that ECS Tuning was offering the R99 wheel at an incredible savings. I looked at many different wheel designs and alway came back to the R99. I think it is a much better design for BUSTER's personality. What do you think?

Awesome, the R99 MINI BBS Polished look sweet, nice pics that looks like the crate and barrel outlet building in the background.

Very nice pics.

You are welcome

We had the GP 1 versions in but they are on order now and will be in soon. The small changes and fixes, really make the interior look complete

Didn't do much today, but replaced the carpeted floor mats with OEM all weather mats purchased from the Marketplace!! Crazy good deal and they're in perfect condition. Can't have my carpet getting ruined with all the snow and salt now, can I??

Got underneath the car today and I seem to have a oil leak. The last few times I have gotten under the car there seems to be a little bit of oil on the bottom of the transmission case. Not able to follow it anywhere as it just on the bottom of the case and thats it. Any ideas where it may be coming from? Replaced the turbo oil line a while back but doesnt seem to be coming from there. Thanks.

Where to begin, oh I'll just come out and say it, Saturday I purchased a lottery scratcher and won $10,000 dollars on the first scratcher!! ~

I was as high as a kite all day, still in the early stages of shock! I'd like to think my Mini had something to do with it. Truthfully I haven't been able to sleep well since Saturday.

Is it leaking around the front or back of the engine/transmission case? Often I see posts like this and it's something simple like a valve cover leaking, check you vacuum pump, when I don't clean and detail my engine bay I notice that oil slowly seeps out of both my PVC hoses where the rubber O-ring is, these are probably not sealing to well anymore.

First off....CONGRATULATIONS!!! I prolly wouldnt be able to sleep either if I won 10k! Thats pretty awesome. Any plans for it or anything? Or you just gonna pay bills and save it? But regarding the car... its kinda weird... cause I was trying to see if I could find a trail from where the oil was but couldnt find anything. Almost like its just on the bottom case of the tranny and thats it. I know its not the valve cover cause I just replaced that 2 months ago. Ill check the vacuum pump though and could the tube/hose that connects from the inlet to the PCV valve in the valve cover be throwing oil if its cracked? That may also be the cause of my P115c code as well.

Call my crazy I just ordered a BodyBuilt ergonomic High Back Executive Chair, just shy of $2000! The 911 operators sit in these chairs 24 hours a day.

I found oil leaking down behind my valve cover on the lip just above the aluminum head and my valve cover was replaced almost a year ago, both of the two PCV ports leak oil very slowly. I noticed the PCV hose (turbo inlet) leaking down around the HPFP, it take about 5 months to get that far. I just shoot brake cleaner or engine degreaser under and around the raised part on the N14 valve cover. I'll most likely just buy 2 new PCV hoses, the turbo inlet hose and the throttle body PCV hose. It's the rubber o-rings that most likely are toasted from all the heat under the hood.

Loaded up 4 wheel/tires and 4 tires in the MINI Cooper and 4 wheel/tires and 4 tires
in the VW Cabrio, off to get new snow tires mounted (all Michelin X-Ice Xi3), and then
brought all 8 wheel/tires backin the MINI. Now when the weather gets more ominous,
I can swap summer to winter wheels at my leisure at home (probably in a couple weeks).

I drive my MCS hard, 75% spirited. On-ramps to freeways WOT and I enjoy passing other cars even if their going 75-80 mph, the only easy driving is done on freeways. Usually if there's a car in front of me at a red light on the on-ramp (red lights on on-ramps, please!) and if there's nobody behind me I'll wait for that car to get out of my launch window.
