General MINI TalkShared experiences, motoring minutes, and other general MINI-related discussion that applies to all MINIs, regardless of model, year or trim.
Your Mini's interior looks like no other, it's rare to see a customized interior. It stands out from the crowd because most all the Mini's I see have the stock interior which seems boring after a while. I'd be lying it I said I didn't want to something with my leather interior, I want more leather to create a custom look.
Today I removed both glass pieces from my sunroof to install brand new weather pieces, removing the glass roof panels was much easier than I thought it would be. Six Torx screws per panel, 3 per side and off they came, still trying to figure out how to remove the screen wind deflector.

thanks - if leather is what you're after, there's plenty you can do with Redlinegoods options. Originally I had hoped to match my Polar Beige leather with the new boots and armrest cover, but unfortunately they don't have any colors that match it close enough. The second best option for me was to go with the Nappa black leather with cream colored stitching, which I think probably worked out better anyway since I don't think I would have wanted to wrap the steering wheel with the light beige color. Of course, one thing that's key to Redlinegoods products is a proper installation, since its easy to end up with unsightly wrinkles and/or a loose fit on the armrest and steering wheel, but luckily I had some experience working with leather in the past. If I didn't already have the colorline'ed interior and if they DID have a matching beige color, I'd definitely order their door armrests and dash covers, since I much prefer some stitching and real leather over the factory vinyl, but oh well. Some day I'd like to wrap the dash top panel in leather and parts of the door as well. I'm also planning on ordering some extra side air vent pieces and the main speedo trim piece to wrap in black Nappa, since the trim pieces are fairly inexpensive to experiment with. Minis are definitely great cars for habitual customizers!

I love an desire a dash like in the 2013 GP2 and add some stitching, stitching adds character to leather especially when the color is a different color than the leather. I almost got the GP just because of the leather rapped dash even though I don't necessarily like the Thunder Gray.
I just got my 06' MC-S last Monday night and have already added all weather mats for the front and trunk and yesterday I changed the chrome grill (upper and lower) to black ones which give the car a cooler/meaner look.
Only interested in minor cosmetic exterior changes so considering a matching black hood scoop to replace the body colored one.
Down the road maybe an exhaust if I can find one that I like.

What's before and after? Sweat red MCS you got there, I always prefer the R53 to the R56! Don't have to worry about ring landing breakage or the problems the R56 has with the N14 engine.

Thanks.
Oh, sorry. Just the front grills. Was chrome, now black. I've only had it a week so, that's about it on the upgrades/mods.
I can't believe the shape this car is in for its age/mileage. Looks to have been garage kept and very well maintained.

I specifically shopped for an '06 S with 6spd and optioned up. Found a gem. So far so good. Cold weather/sport/premium packages plus chrono package and optional Tartan red cloth/leather seating. I love this car. Previous car was '02 BMW 540i sport and I loved that car but I think I like this one even better for its size and weight advantages (as far as handling/fun go).
