I think its time for me to change my struts out. I am still on the stockers after 126k haha!

Yup ! The ride degradation is so gradual most folks don't even realize how it "used to ride" ( loss of gas/worn valving ) until new ones are in....From what I have seen, the OEM struts last at best, 60K miles...

Nothing much so far. Haven't had the car for a week yet so detailing is the priority...
50psi air gun to engine bay...got all the little leaves and things out of there.

Also, dug out my "1st gen ipod mini 4GB" and created MINI playlists for the integrated ipod adapter because the head unit doesn't communicate with my Nano. So psyched that even tho it's old school, I can listen to my favorite music on my commute

Did you see any leaks from the struts before they went ?

The gas was gone....so no visible signs. Had no rebound whatsoever for the rears, and was marginal for fonts.

For those folks who have visible signs, that would be oil fluid loss, IMO then gas would have escaped long before hand and probably overdue for replacement.

Installed a 250ish amp alternator, big 3 upgrade, and a high performance deep cycle battery into my 2013 clubman.

I just bought a 4lb lithium battery for my Mini today from Alien Motion but I am still debating on whether to get the Rival S or go with the RE71-R.

Took both my MINI's to opening day at Watkins Glen International. There were 102 MINI's that took the track. Then Towne MINI and MINI of Rochester held a luncheon for all of us at The Glen Club at the track. Great fun and chance to see other MINI's and meet other owners from all over the state.

You can join "Whine Country Mini Club" out of Dundee or the "Western New York Mini Club" based in Buffalo or be in contact with Towne Mini. They can keep you informed. I'm a member of Tier Mini. I've done this event twice. Watkins Glen international has an opening day event every year just like this. Three laps around the track too! Two years ago WGI honored the MINi at the "Vintage Grand Prix". We got 5 laps and pictures at the start/finish line! That was great. 150 MINI's on Friday and 50 on Saturday. That too is held every year. Check out the website and it provides dates for these events and for MINI's.

Really cool place for a gauge! Now the dumb question why would you want to know the air fuel ratio?

Since delivery 4/22 have: installed NM Engineering front strut bar; Hotchkis Comp rear sway bar, Black/Red Dot Cocomats, and ProClip dash mount for the iPhone. Oh..and can't forget the CROC badge on front grill!

Gotta let the credit card cool down a bit...

Next may be a tire swap...my Bridgestone S-O4s off the NC Miata in exchange for the o.e. 17" ContiSportContact RFs... Thankfully...both are the same 205-45-17 size.

It is isn't it, ha

The car has Bytetronik Full Access software, which logs data, and AFR with this compatible kit. If anything changes or gets altered I can see the fuelling effect here. Usually this reading is only seen or used on a rolling road, but now the road rolling beneath me achieves the same for tuning if required.

Sweet thanks for letting me know! I like the idea
