I will probably paint the window chrome trim. I think next I want to do something with the door handles. Such an eyesore.

Rich,

Outmotoring has a black vinyl kit for blacking out the belt line that works wonderfully. Pre clean the belt line trim really well, take your time and it comes out beautifully.

They also have the matte black door handle covers that look great too.

What are your plans for the handles?

Last night I installed the JCW Leather/Alcantara steering wheel. Took me about 45 minutes to remove the old one and put in the JCW one. Boy, it feels quite different! I love the additional thickness and also the alcantara top and bottom (it was smart of them to not have it in the high-wear 3/9o'clock areas. Since the steering wheel is one of the most used interfaces with the car, I wanted something that I loved and this fit the bill perfectly.

My favorite part of it so far is after I make a turn and the wheel is sliding back to 0 degrees, and my hand passes over the alcantara section...it's a constant reminder that I made the right choice

We took some pictures of our new R56 today. Pretty excited about it and even more excited to start taking it apart for more content!

Relocated plate

Got a relocating license plate kit that uses the front tow hook. I think the bulky stock plate holder took away from the bonnet and stripe and this defiantly is cleaner.
Not sure yet but I may go with a custom euro plate using my tag numbers.

Installed my 15% pulley from WMW today, Very smooth install following a youtube video. It was actually fun to do, and you can definitely feel the difference.

Can't really post a picture of a pulley so here is my "motoring milestone" I passed on the test drive

Had the resonator removed and replaced with straight pipe on my 2011 JCW Clubman. Sounds MEAN! Not a very good video (just propped my phone up near the rear end of the car), but the sound worked pretty well.

Thanks! And of course, that's in sport mode after some spirited driving, so if you are just commuting it isn't that much louder than stock.

Picked up a dozen folding chairs from a friend's house. I might have been able to fit them all in the back, but I decided that two would go in the passenger's seat.

Oh, and it just turned over 40K miles a day or two ago.

Finally was able to start work on my 05 MCSa this week after wrecking it back last year. Got everything but the front third of the car perfect. I still have to replace the hood, front bumper, and buy a new radiator support (the broken one is doing enough to get by for now) and a new reinforcement bar (had a guy weld the broken one, but once again, it does enough to get by for now).

My Bernie has been rear-ended four times. Once on the left corner, once on the right corner, and twice straight on. Fixed it once, but it was my first time doing body work and it looked... off. So I sanded it down and reworked the quarter panels. Then primed, painted, and cleared. For those on a budget doing body work and paint, the OMNI Plus paint looks amazing.

Some pics (the doors were painted a year ago, quarter panels this painted week):

HAHA sweet! We need to have a "what fits in your mini" contest. I was able to fit 15 Mini kegs in mine the other day coming from a brewery!
