Cooling fan

First time putting MINI in front end service mode. Thanks Mod MINI. Replaced the cooling fan assembly due to a faulty resistor.

What did you do to your mini today?

Spent much of the day tearing it apart. Installed sound and vibration deadening. Under the back seat, under the trunk liner, even in the battery box.

The rear seat delete was making things pretty loud, but now it's so much better even than before the seats came out. The bench is back in until I can build a platform for the delete. Plus all in, only about 25lbs of deadening.

Even took apart the dash and added foam tape behind all the trim pieces, and the cup holder and shift trim.

Now the car is 100% rattle free, and quiet as a church mouse, most of the drone from the resonator delete has been alleviated now as well. I'm so happy.

Now I just need to replace the headliner, its sagging pretty badly..... Not looking forward to that....

Thanks guys...my son works at Performance Mini in St. Catharines, Ontario and as soon as this car came in he said I should take it for a "drive" WOW...Sign where...Thank you!
It has a lot of extras such as Blow off, Intake, and ECU tuning...I was looking for a Honda S2000 or a Miata...but everyone has one of those...These Mini's are so unique, comfortable, sporty and good looking, seemed like a no brainer.

Snow Tires are Bridgestone Blizzak Runflats 205/45R17 think they are LM25's. Picked up the rims from one guy North of Toronto for $250 and the tires from another for $200 - not a bad deal....

Looks just like my engine compartment, same color scheme too!

Just curious how come the paint is rubbed off on the strut towers?

I'm not sure, I just bought the car a couple months ago and it came like that. Other than that the car is pretty clean.

Not today, but tomorrow....installing my RMH header that I just got! RMW injectors and Tune will soon follow after some remote tuning from Jan! Definitely excited to feel the difference!
