Left it at home so MINI of Pittsburgh can pick it up from the wife to take it in for inspection and a "We Owe" on 2 stone chips on the drivers door. They were there when we picked it up. I had to drive the wife's Liberty to work this morning, that thing felt like a tank lol.

I have wanted to put a decent sized fire Extinguisher in the car and today took some scrap aluminum and made a bracket for it . I wanted it low in the car but still accessible so I put it at the foot of the passenger seat. It went something like this

Now that's really slick! Can you still adjust the seat with it mounted there? If so, I want one!

Thanks . My seats are in a fixed posistion mounted to the floor but it should not be hard to find a mounting point on the frame of the stock seat .

Slick! i was looking through your gallery and saw your video! that was awesome, that supercharger whine now i was confused, did you tune your GP?

As for what i did today, i went to BMW and ordered the OEM LED license plate lights, i want a small electrical project and figured this would be the perfect thing to do.

Also started spring semester in college but all the annoyance of starting back went away when all the cute chicks were pointing, smiling and breaking there necks as i drove through the campus

I also played around more then i should have today the sport button is quite adicting, and im pretty sure because it was cold out and i have sport tires on i was able to spin them in second gear while going (pretty impressive to say the least) i also shopped around to find a blow off valve and CAI

all and all, a good day with her

My car is a 2002 Cooper S . The whine you hear is from a now discontinued modified intake system called the AGS .

I remember my first few weeks of college. I spent them riding a 5 spd Schwinn around campus as I was finishing up a 60 day loss of license sentence for doing 72 in a 25 zone. Oh the good old days

now thats something that would impress the ladies nowadays 72 in a 25 in NJ would land you 3 years suspension and 6 months in jail with 6 months community service. they are harder on speeders then they are on DUI's

But thats why they invented radar/laser detectors

@Ricky, If i could just find time, I'm going to paint my brake calipers yellow too. As crazy as it seems, I'm trying to narrow down the amount of colors on the car from the factory (Yellow, chrome, silver, black, white, red) to Yellow, CF, and red.

Go with Red Calipers

Agarwaen- If your changing everything to Yellow CF and Red, I would go with red calipers. I know that red is rather traditional, so the Yellow would be different, but the yellow will show the brake dust a lot more than the red will. I have an '02 Liquid Yellow MCS and I painted mine red and they look great against the Yellow car.

Got a JCW carbon fiber rear wing on the way for Beelzebub's 3rd birthday. Rationalizing? Most likely. Pics to follow whether you want them or not! LOL

So, it's lame but I got two MiniFini cupholders (AWESOME btw) and I ordered the tension tool so I can change my belt.

(I also went on WMW and put the pulley upgrade kit in my shopping cart. Not sure if I'm ready to bite the bullet and place the order...)

[edit] I was low on oil so I went and had the oil changed at jiffy lube. All went well, and including buying my own oil/filter it put me at just shy of $90 total. From what I gather, that's close to a $20 savings over the dealership, and I didn't have to clean up any mess.

Beelzebub is one lucky little devil. The JCW wing looks great on DS.

I took off my stock exhaust tip to get the size of the pipe underneath. I found a local shop that can get me the Borla tip that I really want and they need to know the exact diameter. For the MC it's 2 1/4" for anyone who needs to know.

Of course, I didn't have the exact allen key and somehow got it off with a torx.

Replaced all my interior lighting bulbs and licence plate bulbs with LED's. Nice white light now.
