What did you do to your mini today?
MAXI?...wait, that won't work.
Piasan!
Piasan!
I replaced the clutch in my 2009 Clubman JCW. Not me actually but an indi shop :-)
The car only has 46K but the shop owner showed me the fly wheel and it had heat cracks so the prior owner, I bought the car with 29K miles, must have done some hot rodding. It cost $3,300 for the whole job using OEM parts.
The peddle is much lighter and the feel is awesome. The mechanic looked over the rest of the car and said everything else was perfect.
Not thrilled about spending the money but at least the car is now perfect again.

Wow, took the lad to Target tonight in the MINI. (wife is driving the MINI to work and back) But this comes after a few days of swapping out the LCA bushings with Powerflex bushings.
Wow is all I can say. A few days removed, and all I can say is that he feels great. Totally changes the dynamics of the car and wow is the ride quality better! I need to swap out outer ball joints this weekend. Pretty straightforward and will take pics.
I have the inner ball joints in the garage as well. Will swap those out when I replace an axle or two.

Love it! 3rd gen is a good one. Palermo! Sicilian eh?! I have some Sicilian blood as well. My mothers side is from Modena (Ferrari factory yay!) and fathers side is from Naples. We have a family friend that works at the Ferrari factory and my grandpa got a private tour of it. Lucky.

I NEED THAT PLATE!!!!!!!!!
Installed Aero Turbine [AT2525] muffler. Also re-positioned the straight pipe coming off the resonator that was contacting [stock] chassis brace, causing noise. And I thought my RSB bushings were shot. Maybe they are but the new muffler is "muffling" whatever squeak I was hearing.

Installed my JBL 6x9 speakers in the back, along with my newly acquired Ian Cull circuit board. The front speakers will be installed later after I gut my used speakers. Already sounds infinitely better and I can now raise my windows while shifting after clearing a toll booth.
Next up: JCW injectors, new motor mount, and software flash.
The saga continues...
These negated the need for a sub. Plenty of bass.

How does it sound compared to stock?
