Almost 2 feet of new snow added in the last 2 days on top of the foot plus that was already covering the ground. Spring slipped away a few days. The Roadster's sitting in the garage with it's dust cover over it and I'll just have to be patient. At least the skiing is great.
i put the mini on the ramps. drained the Transmission CVT oil and repump new oil through check level hole. with a manual pump. i used the Valveline CVT OIL the is light yellow. 4 quartz. and 1 Castrol CVT OIL that is Red in color.
Nice drive and great bunch of pictures! No snow? No sailboards? I love that area. Need to get back out there soon. It's only about a 3,000 mile scoot from here. Perfect Mini trip!

No snow. Plenty of wind for sailboarding, trust me , if you are hardy enough. If you can see white caps 4 miles away they are huge. And the wind was blowing the same direction of the river so a not so good sailor will find himself/herself miles down river fast. Most people don't have a sail small enough to sail in this condition.
Taking it out of those rubber exhaust hangers was a pain. And the clamp to the downpipe can be a pain also.
Spray the rubber hangers with a little oil or grease and use a gear puller to pull the hanger right off. Set a nut on the end of the little pointy end of the hanger and set the pointy end of the gear puller in the other side of the nut and crank away.
Just use a saw or grinder to cut the bolt off the clamp and it will come right off. The hard part is taking care not to mess up the new gasket when putting it all back together. Replacing the exhausts in these things is really not too hard.
