Just finished installing my Pioneer Premier DEH-P710BT along with the PAC steering wheel control interface for pioneer head units. What a difference over stock. My setup doesn't have the HK system in the way, and aside from the boring blue display, this head unit is the perfect base for a good sound system. 2 USB inputs, 1 AUX, bluetooth and HD radio ready... Just need to add a couple of amps, new speakers and a sub or two!

Took Zim in to have the shiifter cables adjusted, and ordered a new hood scoop. I think I will order the m7 heatshield to protect this one from melting.
Did the Seafoam treatment twice last night. Man what a difference.. My 03 R53 with 86000 miles is running better now than when I picked it up 2 weeks ago. The stuttering is gone and the exhaust note is much improved! I recommend it!

I should do mine, even though it's only got half that many miles on it. Perhaps there will be time this weekend when I'm at the ranch helping my friend recharge his a/c in his car. Probably ought to recharge or top off mine while I'm at it, now that I think about it!
I stuck half a can of SeaFoam in the fuel tank a couple times in a row when I first got Nudnik last fall, but never did slurp any into the intake to clean that up. So far, Nudnik has responded well to the TLC he's received, so hopefully that trend will continue....

C ya,

it's super easy to do - except that our intake hose is tiny, so using a funnel or small plastic hose is definitely helpful! You can't just pour it in like one of the DIY threads I saw on here...

Did you get an aftermarket scoop or OEM? I kinda like the m7 scoop that this guywhomaybuyamini posted.
BTW, Zim is bad ***...I love that blue and black look!

In my old car (a '92 Escort wagon), I just slurped some up with the PCV. Put half a can of it in a jar, let it slurp a little but not enough to stall when revving it at 2000 RPM so that it would mist the inside of the manifold nicely, then sunk it in the jar to stall it, and let it sit a bit and soak into the dirt. The cloud of smoke that emerged from the pipe was insane , but the horses didn't mind, and the car ran *much* better after that. I'm hoping to have similar results with Nudnik when the time comes....
Today was the first warm day in SF since I got Douglas and so I fell victim to the dreaded cosmoline drip. It got on my driver side wheel arch and it was probably only on there for a few hours. I tried cleaning it off with Griot's spray-on car wash but it left a faint white stain on the arch. I'm going to try a few recommendations from this thread before contacting my SA and getting it swapped out. It's not too noticeable, but it still sucks.
I'm posting from The Old Pueblo tonight. Drove down the back way through Superior, Kearney, and Winkelman to the Tucson VA hospital to visit my friend Rick. Never went through Kearney before. Usually I go through Globe and around the *other side* of that mountain. Great mountain curves and some *steep* downhill bits near Superior. I had to downshift into 2nd gear just to keep it under 50MPH on this hill. 3rd gear wouldn't do the trick. I suspect the 10% figure on the sign was a bit low....
