That's awesome SuperCooper! All you need is a little disco ball and some dance music and you'll have yourself a mobile nightclub!

i just went back & forth to work, but i stopped at the local self-serve carwash and sprayed it off to knock off the big chunks. i'll do the windows with some stoner's and hit the front with some bug & tar cleaner tomorrow if i get home early enough. it's been *very* buggy (and very green) this year here in the frying pan--following the record rainfall this winter and spring. the temperature's about a month to six weeks behind the usual schedule, so i guess ol' phil was on the money this year, which for us here is a *good thing*.

it's going to be a frightening summer with all that green stuff turning brown and drying out. can you say "record fire season"? sure, i knew you could....

Just no an Standard r-56 2009 clubman, some say I have limited choices . Sounds like you have other ideas. I would be interested in hearing options to improve performance. I am ready to tinker.

I pounded out my mushroomed drivers side strut tower successfully. Went pretty well I think, everything is even again.

After about 1,000 miles I finally got around to applying some paint sealant. While doing so I noticed some bird poop stains on my black roof that I thought I cleaned off earlier in the week but I guess I didn't look hard enough. Now I need to get some ScratchX and de-stain my roof. Damn avian devils!

Today painted my rear calpipers red on the jcw to match the fronts looks better. Great thread, its interesting to see the things others to and get some great creative ideas thank everyone. By the way for those who would like to paint there brake calipers go to your local parts store, you can by high temp caliper paint for about $7.00 per can. Also painted the center of the rotor that you can see just for a bit more good looks.

Any pics by chance? Would you mind letting us know the exact brand and color paint you used? That sounds like a pretty low-cost high-reward mod.

I can almost hear you saying, "Move over or I'll melt your back bumper!"

I added my new (slightly used) Alta OCC Friday night. Drove down to The Old Pueblo Saturday via Globe, visited my friend who's *still* in the hospital, then came back today. Got good gas mileage with the one-ball and intake mod.... Saw some neat stuff while I was there--a cool T-Bucket parked outside the VA hospital, and the ever-popular No-Tel Motel on the corner of Grant and Oracle....

Lookin' good, Jeremy!

I got to pal around with a Chili Red this afternoon out on some backroads in the Hamptons. So what did I do to my MINI, today? Let's just say I threw him around on some twisties like I've never done before... and for a Justa with no mods 'cept for performance tires, it responded well when rubber left the road! I think I know why sway bars are usually on the mod list, though...

WHAT AN AWESOME LITTLE CAR!

Installed TSW performance springs on my R53, and Vorshlag adjustable camber plates. Needs an alignment, but NICE improvement from the DINAN springs!

Took mine in today for its first scheduled service. Got an oil change, new hood scoop, and re-programming to eliminate the bouncing driver's window problem.
I don't know if it's just because I was so happy to get back behind the wheel after sitting three and half hours at the dealership, but I believe my car has a bit more pep than before the re-programming.

I installed the Craven Speed Flexpod W bracket, Scangauge cradle and TomTom mount in my MINI today.

The pieces are a bit pricey but well made. Very easy install.
