I am! A custom tune makes a world of difference in the overall power delivery throught the powerband. Much more fun to drive now. Before the tune it was flat until 3500-3700 rpm. Now it starts pulling from 1800 rpm. Much better torque as well. Im very happy. Money well spent

Gave ZIM a bath, then used plastidip to blackout the chrome around the tail lights. It looks so much better IMHO.

I installed my DDM intake. That and my Megan exhaust really cranks my mileage down. I'm sure its not because of the way I've been driving it lately............ it growls now. i love it. you've got to get on the pedal to hear it though.....

I gazed out at her most of the day. I was able to park her where I could see her from my desk!

As warm here, too! Getting ready to do the same, as I commute home on twisty, hilly back roads...ahhhh

Pulled the "Cooper S" off of the hatch, and prepped the area for my new R53 badegs. Waiting a few more days before putting them on. Gotta get a good wash done first. Also hoping to get my new hatch badge to replace the boring MINI wing on the back.

I just received this in the mail...still have 5-6 weeks before I can do anything with it.

Pleasantly surprised with Craven quality. Both the Platypus and Flexpod mount are CNC'd aluminum. Pictures on their site don't do them justice.

You ain't wrong about Craven quality. Got a fair collection of their goodies myself. Everything they make is top notch. BTW, it looks like you're off to a pretty good start for not even having your MINI yet! LOL

I had a balance in my Paypal account...and couldn't think of anything better to spend it on.

Also on order is some GoBadges and the requisite Actual Size sticker.

Then a Garmin 1490LMT with the EcoRoute HD dongle...for the gauges.

I shouldn't need it. Eclipse Gray is already the fastest color.

I finally installed the OEM alarm a few weeks ago and drive out to have Way activate it. While he was at it, he set the oil service reminder to 7k miles (instead of the OE 15k miles) and turned on my rear fog so it will already be done if I ever find a reasonably priced switch panel.

I also had him install his quick tune and raised the rev limiter to ~7233. Eventually I'll get the dyno tune and the cost of the quick tune is applied towards that so no lost $$$.

I'm running out of "cheap" things to do But still have plenty of pending projects to keep me busy.

Detailed my Mini for the first time!

I feel really good after spending the afternoon cleaning out and detailing my new car! I can't believe how dirty the wheels get! Is that a californai roads thing? Or a Mini thing? Either way it looks good now! Even had the neighbors enjoying the amazing sound system haha

It's a MINI thing, The brakepads throw off a lot of dust!

You're right, detailing your MINI is a lot of fun!

Took Nudnik to the wash stall over in Mesa that I used to frequent before I moved cross-town, since I happened to be in the area.

Later, I took Nudnik up South Mountain to get a feel for the IE fixed camber plates I put in to replace the dying front strut mounts.

Nudnik's now MUCH nicer in the twisties!

C ya,
Dutch
